Exactly what i thought: what a shame for B-M, copying in the 40's what Nomos is doing in the 00's

At a watch fair a few weeks back, I had my eye on a larger Mondaine than the mid-size one I've had for a few years. Missed out on that one, but have only just realised they do an automatic one...

It pains me to see particularly sweet dials and hand sets on vintage watches with chrome top cases, as I dislike chrome so much that I must resist. But good quality, small, all steel watches in excellent condition? I'll sweep 'em up any day for dinner money...
