Probably when they realized their watch was meant to determine speed over a set distance, rather than the speed of an engine's internals?
Another one to add to my quartz diver collection, and pretty sure it's a genuine issued one too. Really happy
Haha I know! And it is so absolutely the wrong watch for that bespoke-suit-and-fedora look! With such an awful watch-suit combination, the guy must be a British intelligence agent. Definitely Double-0-something.
the hands on this one got me to make a compulsive offer that was unexpectedly accepted. First photo was before a lot of polywatch, though the crystal is still very crazed. Dial and hands are otherwise very clean.
This arrived this morning. Looks to be all original and could do with a clean! Just need to get the back offbto check the serial numbers match and I'll be a happy man!
Oh man, my WM is still busy with mine, it's turning into a 15 month project that's had one too many trials and tribulations on the way. I'm hopeful that I'm going to get it some time next week.
That is absolutely awesome Rob! Fantastic catch. I wonder how you do it....(besides sitting on a strong currency of course.....)
Nice catch Patrik! A CB from the drawer is not an everyday find today. Not even once a year.... Seems like it has been hit by a meteorite
Thx Martin, the bezel is what it is but i won't change it. Travelled through Sweden last week and lucky to find some nice things, actually didn't have the possibility to carrie everything so i go next week again. Did u have any luck lately?
