I like vintage watch advertisements, which I collect mostly in digital form, and ephemera. Doxa would often punctuate its magazine ads with striking orange notes, as the example below suggests. The flag that I've just bought (also seen below) is a nice example of the genre, and is 9 3/4" long, a dimension with which, coincidentally, my wife is very familiar*. 🙄
Dimension, including thickness and overall shape as well? Rigidity and colour too, I presume? 😁
Yes of course, and conveniently there is also a shared vernacular. "Full-mast", "half-mast", "Honey, why don't I help you hoist the flag.", etc. And apparently the display is impressive, as occasionally partners have spontaneously burst into singing the National Anthem of their various home countries as the colors were raised.
