Picked up a nice Longines Flagship and Delma chronograph at a regional event plus a Constellation needing some TLC.

Nice sharp flagship relief! What's the movement within?

Pretty honest 145.012 just sauntered through the door.

I just love the applied dial and the patina-goldenish markers! And the whole watch is in a great condition too!

Some Juvenia love.

I really like this one. 🥰

Was it sold as shown, or is this a display sample to show off the movement?

This little piece of 40's loveliness:

(seller's photos)

There, I've gone and jinxed it. Couldn't help myself, had to share it! 😜

If anyone have a spare screw for the movement (on top of the serial no), I'd happily take it 😁

Just arrived - a nice unpolished RG 291::psy::, with what appears to be the original gold plated springbars! 😲

Voila... the G383 "Poker Chip." Will give it its own thread one day.

Kind of reminds me of this Gruen Pan American I have, also from the '40s.

Purchased yesterday. It's not a watch but it's for one of my watches (my beloved Seiko 6309-7049 that I purchased new almost 30 years ago). I purchased a new Seiko DAL1BP rubber strap for my 6309 from seiyajapan.com.

After fairly extensive research, I learned that the original strap (GL831) that came with my 6309-7049 is no longer produced...and that buying a NOS (rare and expensive) or lightly used one can have its risks due to the strap failing as a result of drying out because of its age. Since I plan to actually use the strap on my 6309-7049, I decided to go with the currently produced Seiko DAL1BP...I learned that's what most of the 6309 freaks do so that sounds good to me...since I'm sort of a 6309 freak myself.

Regardless, I'm patiently waiting for the DAL1BP's arrival and look forward to installing it on my 6309-7049.

NOTE: The original GL831 that came on my 6309-7049 cracked within 2-3 years of ownership...I have no idea where it is...probably at the bottom of the Indian Ocean or something since I had a habit of "float testing" busted stuff on cruise (deployment) while on active duty in the Navy.

The Seiko DAL1BP strap that was ordered yesterday...$38 shipped...👍

Last set of tools and straps - the store selling the Eulits does have international postage at $4AUD a piece, which is a real bargain if you're a small/mid size watch person. Won't be touching anything else now until I can establish my budget again 😀
