Stuff happens. 馃榿
That it does. I joined this forum to get some info about the Omega 300 (the new one) and I end up buying like seven vintages now and still no Omega 300 haha

Really sweet example - so many of these have trashed cases. @tinger now has its angelic counterpart

thanks I've been searching for 1 that wasn't trashed & with a seller w/ some integrity & truth. It all aligned with this 1

7 months ago I would have disagreed vehemently ( mostly because of the size) but thanks to Colin aka gophishin who attended a GTG & let me try his Wakmann on which he sold me a little later & thanks to all the awesome posts here & enablers I agree , but I'm still a Paneristi @ heart. I've always loved these vintages but due to the size I have always shy'd? away from them, that's until I tried 1 on.
It's a wrap now.[emoji6]

Don't mean to offend but .... YUCK!! (unless of course you're talking about the original vintage Panerai with Rolex movement....)
I like the cushion case and their revival was a marketing stroke of genius, but they're not much more than that -- don't get me started as we might get into a food fight.
Isn't there any other way to feel powerful than by putting all that volume on the wrist?
Those panda dials are so much more classy and attractive!
And the real action men of today wear G-shocks or Luminox!

I love em, but not because of an ego/ powerful volume as you stated.
Much more than just a watch.
Community, History, the endless strap options.
We all have different tastes & opinions no offense taken. They are not for everyone

Community, History,

Er... again no offense intended -- just curious : what "community" and what "history"?
What about them is "Much more than just a watch"??
Of course they're just a watch. They're modern reproductions.
If you have a spare 50-100K, you can afford "more than just a watch" --one of the real vintage military divers, those are history.
Omega SM300 has equally prestigious military diver history as do Rolex Subs, Tudor Snowflakes (with a beautiful design to boot), and above all, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms (although the modern designs are ugly).
And you can still find beautiful vintage civilian SM300s for a price that's still cheaper than those Panerais.
Anyhow, you're right, everybody has their own taste.
Wear'em in good health, that's the main thing.馃憤

Straight out of the box.
Been after one of these for a long time now.

Finally found a 6 inch version in Oz with the 'crater' base.
There's some damage to both the globe and base but I'm happy to have one.

And with apologies to @Humptymarsbar 馃槵

This arrived recently.

Hope your hunt for a signed photo is going well. I just couldn't let this one go once I found it.
I've been collecting the SpaceCraft (Swanson) cachets for a while now and it looks like I'm going to be trying to get as many signed by astronauts as possible now. 馃槑

1940's Heuer, Valjoux 22. The original (?) GF Bonklip "bamboo" bracelet is very comfortable.

you will love the patina once it develops & the bezel will still turn w/ the patina.
I have a Benarus BronzeMo that is full on patina & the more it gets the more I love it.

Thanks for the info. I'd only seen one thread on another forum where the owner said the patina had stopped the bezel rotation and wasn't sure if that was a common issue. Glad to hear it it not.
