My wife bought this ugly friggin duck thing which now stands in the corner of the bathroom..... cute I suppose.

But why would it have a label on the bottom warning: not for food use.....

What the hell would you make out of it? Ceramic Peking Duck?

???🤨😵‍💫😒???

Foie gras if you're into lumpy things...👎😵‍💫🙁

The second of 3 new purchases.
Eone Bradley! One of the coolest watches around ::psy::

Yes I got one of these during its Kickstarter phase. Very cool watch and great heartfelt story behind it.

This just in!!
Seamaster 2494 - 18k gold, Cal 342 bumper and dates to 1953!

Nice case and nice movement, but wrong dial and hands unfortunately. Dial's gonna be tough to find.

Looks like a nice solid gold bracelet also. And movement is cal. 354 chronometer which is correct for the jumbo 2494 case, not 342.

You are of course correct!! A case of getting too excited before doing due diligence. Cal 342 is sub-second although my movement clearly says 342, there must have been some modification. The watch is going back.

Thanks for the kind words Paul, and duly noted!
For now it looks like a keeper, but who knows what the future holds....
you might even tire of your tropical Type 20 and we could do a trade !😉

A Longines with date at 12 with a horrendous photo listing. I'll post some arrivals, don't want to jinx it!

How I'm feeling until it arrives.....

Here, just look at the dial and don't take your eyes off of it... it'll soothe your nerves!😉

That's a beaut @Hijak thanks for the moment of therapy. 👍 The one I took a chance on appears to be like one @Spike posted several months ago. Here's to hoping the blemishes around the dial are just grime and not water. 😟

Sellers pic.
Bought this, it still has the plastic around it and the hangtag. I have been after one of these for a while, I know they are not difficult to find, but to find an unused one is not so easy. very happy to be the new owner of this and hearing it hum for the first time. Have to wait until August before I am home again and will actually get to try it on but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

This came in the mail today: a Rothco "MadDog" protective watch strap.

I won't be piloting an airliner anytime soon but I'm definitely covered for my next bicycle crash 😀
