A few '20s-30s jazz 78s, like this one. I'm at the annual Tribute to Bix [Beiderbecke], affectionately known as the Bixfest, in Racine WI. Looking forward to the great live jazz tonight and tomorrow night.
Been a really good month, one of my semi Grails is off the list, a beautiful Gallet Multichron 12H Jim Clark. Thanks again to a very helpful forum member!
A nice SM project just in. Non running and no crystal but a dial that just makes me smile every time I look at it
I'm waiting for my SKX007 to come back from the watchmaker. When it gets here, this will be the first band. Hopefully I'll have it back in about a week. Patrik from Clover Straps made this. I really like his work. www.cloverstraps.com
I just acquired a Omega Speedmaster in 18k Gold. Circa 1999. Replica of the 1957 speedmasters. Made in a limited edition of 150 pieces. Condition is unpolished, almost New Old Stock! What do you guys think? ♚ SingaporeanWatchBaron ♚
Cosmic arrived! Looking for suggestions for a new strap. Right now I'm thinking dark brown croco but IDK. Help!
Thanks! It is not the same one Amanico posted - that one was even nicer I think. . Have been looking for one for a while, and missed a couple before this one. They do not last long when one appears! Just a couple of weeks ago I mentioned looking for one in another thread - https://omegaforums.net/threads/this-just-arrived-and-purchase-saga.36192/#post-411036 - guess someone was listening.
Last week from great member @Joe K. Not been on the wrist yet, tragic, need a few 1175 links and don't have a worthy strap yet. Might have to pull a strap off something else to get her off the cushion.
Wow lucky you-- some day I'd love to find one of those too. Although not now as I just paid for a big purchase....
Found this, and I didn't even have to 'stray' I missed the first beauty that was being sold by 'Doctor Patina'; then this one came along: Been looking around for a vintage Rolex with dial like this for awhile. .... itch scratched!
