So the movement plates and bridges are also titanium? What is the weight of the whole watch head?
Edit: Googled it myself. The watch case and the movement (minus the wheels and springs and jewels) are made from titanium-aluminum ('gamma titanium', density 4 gram per cubic centimeter, which is the same as sapphire, and about half that of steel and brass), and the watch weighs 55 gram. For comparison, the head of a steel IWC Portugieser chronograph weighs 70 gram.
The aluminum in the alloy also reduces flammability, apparently. Definitely a good thing. I hate it when my watches burst into flames.
