Love the push in crown

35K 😲

Yes the push in crown is a novel idea, I wonder if that will become a feature of other Omega watches, maybe it could be used on a divers watch rather than having crown guards?

A good looking watch, lots of innovative ideas, but not for me, oh and a touch pricey but if you have just had a £12.2 million payday for winning a golf tournament £37,240.00 is just small change 😀

Curious to know how the push in crown mechanism will hold up to wear and tear.

And the price is just off-putting

Just calculated the cost per gram and this works out at £677 per gram of watch, does anyone have any cost per gram comparisons?

Fore!
They say 45.400 Euro on website.

My first thought was that this is supposed to be the answer to Tag Heuer's no longer available Tiger Woods Golf Watch.

For me this price is out of bounce.

A mechanical watch and golf always learned this was a no no , also the 2231 SMP head only weight is 54 grams , as for the crown I personally like to see the crown

Is this the first manual wind one though? The absence of a rotor is huge in my opinion...

I think so, however being that the movement is also partly titanium I expected even more lightness 😜 .

First titanium movement from Omega... And the case titanium is called "Gamma Titanium".

This one looks amazing... I love the idea of the push-in crown... looks really interesting, I hope once I'll be able to see one in life. Also they seem to continue the "no date trend" with this one. This is something I do not like, but the price is way out of my league, so I'll not have headaches due to that 😀

It's probably the 1st one of its kind, so I'm sure more to come with more affordable options. Overall based on the pictures, this looks fantastic.

I look at this like a concept model where most of the features will eventually be introduced is actual watches most of us can afford.

I second that. Or at least hope that it’s true. It seems like an absurd price, but if the metal is all new, it makes some sense.

It’s cute, when I saw the picture I thought it would be an entry level swatch like option. Playful, dynamic and affordable.....

then I followed the link and thought.... of all the watches I can get at that price, why this one?

Is Gamma Titanium now classified as a Precious Metal, putting it in the same league as Gold or Platinum, after all it costs more per gram than either of them?
