You will, of course, post some pictures?? 😀
If you insist. I got this this afternoon, so just a quickie snap, lighting was not conducive for a great pic. Anyway, first impressions is it is very comfortable, a good size. I have a normal Speedmaster, the Apollo 11 50th and the 1957 Speedmaster, and all three bracelets fit differently. I have a 7.5" wrist......the classic Speedmaster needed ONE link removed, the Apollo 11 needed TWO links removed, and the 1957 Speedmaster needed THREE links removed. Odd, but that's what I needed to make them fit my wrist.

And here's a question that I haven't seen addressed. The latest 1957 Trllogy has a hang tag that is priced in Turkish Lira along with a country code that I assume is Turkey, but the Omega warranty card is signed from a large AD in California. Is it normal for AD's in different countries to swap product, and what does Omega HQ think about this? The Omega warranty is dated Jan. 2018 so it has about four months left on the warranty but just found it odd that the card is from a CA authorized dealer.

If the Speedy Trilogy is so great why is it trading below retail?

I watch them on Ebay and they stick for months at 5k

I don’t know that one can judge how “great” a watch is based on it’s used market pricing. Putting aside that it’s really all personal choice, there are a number of factors that will impact pricing that have nothing to do with desirability.

Bottom line, if this abomination is worth more than a quarter of a million dollars, pricing is meaningless.

Like many watches pictures don't do Richard Mille watches justice.....you have to see and handle them in the flesh, they are a lot more subtle than the photoshopped commercial pictures they have to use in advertising to make them stand out.

I don’t doubt it, though I know it wouldn’t be to my liking either way. I’m sure they’re actually very impressive from a technical perspective, they just don’t honk my horn.

Very off topic picture above so I will add just one picture of watches of the super rich and get the hell out

I had tried one of them actually (they all have the same case design don't they?) It's true that the comfort is quite spectacular but apart from this... pricing is just a joke. The brand has positioned as a wear-me-and-people-will-know-I-have-money.

Just a quick snap at my messy man cave, but this watch also does well on all manner of straps.

Very curious what the general opinion is on the forum.

I found the Trilogy Speedmaster to be a very attractive piece even with the faux patina. The size is perfect, the bezel is elegant and is the first DON in many many years, the dial color is rich, the bracelet is extremely nice. I just really like it.

Anyway, the Apollo 11 50th model is cool in concept, but for some reason the Trilogy model tugs at my heart a little more.

What do you all think??

Or why not the one in between the two? 😁
