Anyone order new Speedy on a Nylon Strap

I think the cordura is the same material used on a lot of Omega straps (like Snoopy, DSOTM). It feels mostly smooth with a small bit of texture. The underside of the strap, the part that sits on your skin, is leather so it's very comfortable.

Probably my only gripe is that I have very small wrists and the deployant clasp is not even close to being centered. So part of the clasp digs into the inner part of my wrist because the length of the clasp doesn't follow the contour of my wrist. But that's really a niggle. It's very comfortable and I plan to wear this as my daily.

I originally bought the new hesalite speedy on the bracelet, but switched to the nylon strap just because I really like the look. The strap is great, extremely comfortable and just looks cool. Even though the new bracelet is light and comfortable, wearing the watch on the nylon makes you forget you are wearing a watch while also giving the watch a completely different feel.

My only "issue" is that the strap itself is really long, so a big chunk of the strap is tucked under the buckle. This makes the tail end of the strap slip out sometimes. I attached a picture to better explain what I mean. Does anybody know if this strap comes in different sizes? If so I will probably switch to the smaller size.

And then this is what I was trying to explain:

Thanks. How big is your wrist? I have a 6.5 inch wrist and am trying to figure out if this will be a concern.

Thanks. Where did you pick up the nylon strap? An OB?

Hi, yes. My wrist is also 6.5 inches. It would be great if there were a shorter strap available per Squan's post or if the folding clasp were a tad shorter.

Yes the boutique was able to order it, and it took a few weeks to come in. Also I have a 7 inch wrist for reference

Here is the normal length silver Snoopy strap (CWZ003436) on my 7.5" wrist, no issues with the 'tail' slipping out from behind. It looks like a 6.5" wrist might need a shorter strap.

I second this! The bracelet is light and comfortable, almost "dainty" light feeling, but that's fine. I currently have mine on a nylon strap and you're right, it doesn't even feel like the watch is there. It's so light!

The black Silver Snoopy strap is available in S size as well for those with smaller wrists. Part number is CWZ003905.

Just confirmed with the AD that the new speedmaster nylon strap is available in 3 sizes, so make sure you try it on before you buy!

I heard this as well, but there doesn't appear to be a way to specify a size when ordering on the Omega site. Not sure about purchasing through an AD and OB.

Is there any info on the corresponding wrist sizes?

The web site is based on the normal (or medium) size. If you want a small or long length version you have to go through a dealer or boutique. The selection on line is very, very basic but which will suit most buyer's wrists.

This would be useful as I just bought a Seamaster rubber strap and it is too loose. I wish I had a sizing guide. And Omega doesn’t take returns so I will have to buy a second strap.

Good note. I guess I assumed the website would offer all the options. Thanks.

Sorry I did not reply earlier - I think the part # of the leather strap is CUZ014116. Overall the strap is OK, I think I would prefer if it were thicker and wider. I don't have large wrists (6.75" - I wear the strap on its smallest setting) and it still looks a little too delicate to my eyes. I ordered a genteel brown leather cordova strap which has not arrived yet but I sort of regret not getting it in 18mm clasp size instead of 16mm

Here's the black ceramic titanium deployment clasp CTZ002303 version on the Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8. I actually find this band and deployment clasp combination a little thick to be comfortable for desk use.

Just an update in case anyone else has similar concerns.

I picked up my watch this week, and it fits just fine for me so far. My wrist ranges from about 6.25" to 6.5", and I'm wearing mine on the second smallest hole. It fits snuggly when my wrist is at its biggest, and it loosens slightly when my wrist shrinks but not enough to slide down off my wrist.

The tail is a little long, but so far I'm not having any issues with it poking out from underneath. And the clasp feels like it's generally in the right spot on my wrist. The material isn't broken in yet, and it's still a little stiff. But that's how it fits for now. I was concerned that I'd need to order the short version right off the bat, but I don't feel the need at this point.

I ordered the strap and deployant separately for my hesalite 3861. Here are the part numbers if it helps.

The deployant is 16mm, that length of the strap is 100mm, the holed length is 105mm, my wrist is 7” and I’m on the 3rd smallest hole, so this is a pretty lengthy strap

This strap will fit the 1861 hesalites, right? Been thinking about getting a deployment buckle and this looks to be a decent strap to go along with it. Hopefully my OB has the S and M so i can try them (6.75" wrist).
