·I have the DSotM with the ceramic tang buckle. How long are those strap with the deployant buckle? They look alot longer they the original strap that I have.
Im going to replace my (buckle) strap that came with the watch, with the folding one (price 610 euros). I understood from my Omega dealer that there are three lengths for the strap (small, regular and large). Does anyone know more about this? I will check it out this saturday
Went to visite my Omega dealer today to check the diffrent sizes for the straps for the folding clasp.
It appears there are 4 sizes. Regular (which is standard for new watches), small, medium, and large.
Seen from small each size is about 1 cm larger at 12oclock and 1cm at 6oclock (so two centimeters in total).
Regular fits my wrist at one hole from the smalest position. This would mean a lot of excess strap (as can been seen in the pic from the poster above). So, I was adviced to order size small. Then the pin will be at the position in the midle of the strap, so that it will be more balanced. I’ll pick it up in about 3/4 weeks.
Okay. So this review is a couple of years old. But I must say that it is still one of the best I’ve read. Late thanks to the OP.
It has been quite accurate (around +1.0s/day) and looks absolutely new despite having been banged a few times. I'm very careful with watches, but in two years it's inevitable that you'll bump them against something hard. The ZrO2 has been great, remains very shiny, with deep color and I can't find the tiniest scratch.
Yesterday...
Dust is the natural enemy of this fully black watch. Other than that, it remains looking brand new.
