One more thing i liked about the other one is its from 1976. To commemorate two things that specially happened then. Ferrari’s first win at Monza the year before. And my mother giving birth towards the end of the year. The PVD is putting me off though.

I will say I did like the vintage Orfina Porsche design pvd watches we had on original metal bracelets. We bought a few of them over the years in Cebu.

@JimJupiter is correct - this is not a Monza, it is a Ref. 12 as originally stated with a manually-wound movement. However, the movement is a Valjoux 7734 - the date version of the 7733. It looks like it's in good condition, $1400 might be the top you could sell it on for but who knows - it's very hard to find these in good condition, and the right collector on Chronotrader could be up for it at that price. I'd still maybe see if you can reduce the price though.

Thanks for your thoughts. What I did initially was look on google and a few came up on USA ebay as well as a couple watch forum posts and I got the impression that $1400 was way below what they usually trade for. However when pointed out in this thread that overseas ebay sales only brought in around $1100 I got clued in I was mistaken. Since I don't really like the watch and I have a very special relationship with Murphy of Murphy's law, I can see already that I will be stuck with it. Better I try to buy the two watches I want to keep and forget this Heuer.

I agree with others that selling it for $1,400 would not be a slam dunk.
