Hey all, this is my first post here as I recently acquired this watch and wanted to open it up to inspect the movement. Now I'd like to change the case back gasket, but did tons of searching and nothing conclusive comes up for the usual keywords. The only website I found that pops up for 175.0084 is https://www.ofrei.com/page990.html with OME-G281-272. However, I've seen part numbers like 198ZW5031, 198ZW5029 or 198-0080. I'm assuming there's a more popular ref that's the same as 3513.xx which has the compatible parts list, but haven't found it.

If anyone can share some knowledge, I'd be very thankful!

Btw– in regards to the overall watch; the main thing I found weird was the freehand writing in the case back, but fell on a thread from here that went into detail on that. Feel free to share any other thoughts if something is off.

Edit: also forgot to mention serial starts with 586, which seems to be the 1998 batch

Thank you Archer! Honoured to see you drop by. Your name has shown up in every thread I’ve been lurking before signing up, so you’re a legendary figure in my eyes now 😂

Is there a place to look up OEM part numbers (for non-watchmakers)? I'm trying to find part numbers for the bezel insert and bezel assembly for both a 3513.33 and 3513.50 (same as OP watch).

Not as far as I’m aware. You can try parts houses like Cousins as although they can no longer get parts they still list many case and movement parts by reference.

To get access to the intranet you need to be an Omega approved watchmaker

There is no public location to look up all part numbers. You may find bits and pieces in public places, but not everything...

Just FYI - I wouldn't normally consider this a DIY job unless you have some experience already. You will need a good quality rack press and dies to do this properly.

The inserts are not sold separately, so the entire bezel assembly is the only thing available...

For 35133300 - bezel assembly is 082SU1273

For 35135000 - bezel assembly is 082SS1273

Note that the crystal is installed into this bezel assembly, so when you remove the bezel the crystal will come with it. If you plan to change the bezel, the crystal will have to be removed from the old bezel and installed into the new one. For that you will need a new crystal gasket - 298EG5131 for both watches.

There is an O-ring under the bezel assembly, and you should change that as well - 088NS5082 for both watches.

If you need to remove the case back, the seal there should be changed also - 198ZW5031 for both watches.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not experienced and don’t have the tools, so thank you for your advice. I got a 3rd party bezel off eBay I sent with it to my jewelry shop to get switched during a repair and of course it was cheap and didn’t work. Having to buy the whole assembly it’s probably not financial practical for an aesthetics change.
