·It's what I was saying earlier this week...... Bonkers. Wish I did know what it went for, I'd figured on it been a 105.002 or a 2998-6 with the wrong minute and hour hand, what do you guys think?
Crystal looked orignal, dial looked lovely, bezel was a belter and from the images supplied case looked very sharp. Someone clearly took a gamble and hope it paid off for them.

·I just pesonally think it's a huge shame prices have become so ridiculous and I genuinely believe it is a detriment to the community as speedies have now become unownable and when they are brought they are brought as 'investment items' not as a vintage watch to wear and enjoy.

That's really good point. I'm really want one vintage with nice tropical dial, but gee....I have a lot of different places where I can spend 20-30K.
This is why I have purchased the modern one, and I'm enjoying wearing it, also it will be a vintage some day))))
