Hodinkee has fixed it for all of us, as just pointed out. Here with url: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/bring-a-loupe-vintage-watches-august-28-2020
Now, we鈥檒l have to sit back and wait for a larger part of the market to determine its value.
Hodinkee found it here and published it.
Guys, why not make a sticky thread with "advices and practices" for situations like this, which could help us new ones to avoid them. Shabbaz says old members do the same thing, so one shouldn鈥檛 be surprised if someone new does it. It is obvious that there are threads with direct links to auctions, but this turns out to be very rare watch, so everyone went crazy. I apologize to you all once again (some indicated that I dont have to worry, but I do) because that was not my intention. Hope you understand.
Unless you have proof of this, laying that at the feet of Zapatta is a bit on the extreme, and poor form IMO.

The only thing remotely close to be called evidence is that in the same article they post a watch being sold right now on the private sales section of the forum.
Maybe they did find it on here, maybe they didn't, either way no blame should be put on OP for something he doesn't have control over.
It seems like Hodinkee just had a look at OF recently as they also posted this Favre Leuba which coincidentally was also bumped today.
Sales threads here are picked up by aggregator sites (that I'm sure the guys who write the articles a Hodonkey follow), but threads on the forums are not.
To conclude that they saw this thread because they have that advert listed, is a stretch...
There are lot of grapes in this thread, and they are very sour...
