The last few Speedmasters were pretty 'meh'. Nothing for the real aficionado or collector.
Idk... the white dial and new FOIS were pretty nice unless you're talking about all of the XSotM releases.

Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of the last handful of 3-sub-dial speedmaster releases. I even love the 2-tone panda ones (i have the Sedna!). TBH, there isn't a 3-subdial speedmaster in the lineup other than the Snoopy that I'd not have at least pretty solid interest in...

What if... we get a Speedy with a red dial? We have black, white, blue (sort of), green, grey (Japan racing 2004), silver, and not counting the gold ones. Seems this color is missing. And with the last teaser all in red... Let's see

Might not be a new model, but it's out there... 3510.61.00

Right you are, but this is a reduced Speedy if I am not mistaken. I had in mind a dark red sunray like the "beer bottle-green" they offer with the gold case.

I see a lot of common questions being asked. Here are some answers

1) it's not a snoopy
2) it's not a speedy Tuesday
3) it's not a LE
🧐
Did You also figure out both NASA Speedmaster anniversaries, serendipitously both dates falling on a #SpeedyTuesday in 2026...

What would get me excited is this:
Steel.
4th generation Professional case like the lastest 3861 models.
321 movement.
Black racing dial with dark red accents.
Dark red hour, minute and seconds hands.
White chronograph hands (seconds, minutes, hours).
Aluminium bezel and hesalite.

At the same time discontinue the 321 Ed White.

Something similar as this. Maybe without the Professional text line.
Price around the listprice of the Ed White.

Together with the Moonshine gold panda from the Met Gala from May last year, either with a 3861 or a 321 this would bring some excitement.

Discontinue the Ed White? I can't see that happening, but this would be a lovely addition otherwise. I would like the Ed White to stay, just so there are more on the market and their price lowers overtime, making it more obtainable for me 😉

Cool hints, thanks for the teaser! Based on these, I guess it could be a new reduced Speedy, say 39mm, but thinner than the old version.

I would love to see a 39mm Speedy, but it's not. It's an existing size from the current collection in a very interesting colourway which I believe will be very well received.

Well, unfortunately all spaceflight-related anniversaries have moved towards the moonSwatch...
so no use in mentioning, what IMHO are two important NASA-related Speedmaster anniversaries!

As an old man, hoping to see that at least a few watch brands didn't forget their history/legacy...
2026
50th anniversary of the “practical co-axial” movement (1976, patented in 1980)
100th birthday of English horologist watchmaker George Daniels. (19 August 1926)
250th anniversary of the death of English watchmaker John Harrison (24 March 1776)
370th anniversary of the invention "Pendulum" by Dutch Christiaan Huygens (December 1656)

Hrmph, now I'm interested... I guess we'll see in 6 days. I'm having a hard time envisioning what it could be!
