Talked about it briefly I like them, fresh view and usually very honest watches. Prices have risen but they still are more than fair
Yeah, I find Christian refreshing in his manic way. I was inspired by him to buy a few nice inexpensive vintage Swiss watches and have watch makers service them. I also like TGV for his love all level of watches. ps it's Theo and Harris
oh definitely not, he is very amusing as back ground noise. for more informed watch repair lessons I usually go with watchrepairchannel
From what I've watched of that one he is certainly better...some bad habits that grate on me still though...
ooo i am curious if the paid for subscription he does a different thing, but what are these bad habits?
Mainly bare fingers all over movements, dials, etc., but also prying up bridges with steel screwdriver blades, using the wrong sized screwdriver for the screw...there's probably other things but I'm not going to go watch one just to tell you more. Those are enough for me...
Speedmaster chronographs seem all the rage at YouTube... Hodinkee made a series "in cooperation with Omega", but I also enjoyed: .
I was reading through and was surprised no one mentioned them. I was about to add the suggestion myself. I guess you beat me to it
