And the best Omega Boutique is….

My favorite was in Oakbrook, IL but sadly they shut down. My contact moved to the downtown Chicago (Michigan Ave store) which I've also always had good experiences with.

Las Vegas, NV was ok but it just seemed like they were moving merchandise, not really the luxury experience I expect. Didn't really seem like pationate watch salesmen/saleswomen. Perhaps they're jaded from people winning a small jackpot in a casino and just popping in to buy something shiny.

The St. Louis boutique has always left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I always stop in when we're visiting my wife's family and always walk out thinking "I'll don't think I'll ever buy from them". Others may have different experiences but I've been in there 10+ times and never been thrilled.

Just went to the Omega Boutique in Paris on Rue St. Honore last week. Exceptional service, extremely knowledgeable and wanted to discuss what was on my wrist (1959 Longines tank), my vintage Omegas and what they were wearing. They let me try on everything and were professional, warm, friendly and helpful. I had a stellar experience and would recommend them based on my experience. There were two women there. One was named LeiLei Jiang (I just looked at the business card she provided). If you're in Paris it's not too far from Breguet and the museum there.

The only one? I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean the only OB with a watchmaker, or the only one with good knowledge?

I met Herr Müller (Uhrmachermeister) at the OB in Hamburg, he seemed very savvy to me, but then again anyone that can get the back off a watch without screwing things up is smarter than me so what would I know.😕

edit: forgot to answer the questions Ref Hamburg OB:-
· Friendliness: very! or they are good a faking interest in my endless blather. I feel very welcome in my Hamburg OB. I am always greeted by name when I enter.

· Knowledge: High I guess. Hard to judge since I'm a clueless Noob.

· Aftercare: Good. I have never felt neglected or overcharged. Even tolerated my Sharkmeshed Globemaster.

· Helpfulness: See previous answer

· Going that extra mile: 😀 Yes

· Beverage offered or not: Always, hot or cold with or without gas (in the water)

I agree completely.
Over the years I spent some €€€€ over there. This did not change their respect and friendlyness compared to my first walk in. The change is that we get closer, talk private issues, sending holiday greetings. They never did start licking boots....

Unfortunately I can't speak for any other boutique. Wait, once I looked into Berlin's Boutique....

I've been to at least the following OB's:
- San Diego
- Beverly Center
- 5th Ave
- San Antonio
- Orlando
- Houston
- South Coast Plaza
- About 8 in Hong Kong

I'm partial to my home boutique in San Diego, not just because I know everyone there very well, but because they are consistently the most knowledgeable and customer focused. Beverly Center is always very good as well. I'd say all of them were exceedingly friendly, except 5th Ave. Special shout-out to Tourbillon in South Coast Plaza - very cool people there and always something interesting to see.

Having lived in SW London a few years back and being in a position to visit most of the OB's without a doubt White City was my pick of the bunch.
Dropped in for a bracelet sizing on my PO8500 and was offered coffee or something stronger and discussed my visit to Kennedy Space center with the team.
Friendly, informative all without the sales pressure felt in other stores.
Cheers Michael

A work colleague of mine ( who did not know I am into Omega's ) walked into Regents Street OB and wanted to buy a Seamaster, a few weeks ago. Unfortunately his experience has traumatised him so much that he will never go back. They were very aggressive and did not listen to what he wanted.

He eventually bought his Seamaster from Ernest Jones

Thumbs up to the OB on 5th Avenue in NYC. My salesman is Jacob Sparling and I believe he is an OF member. I also like the OB at Northpark Mall in Dallas. Exceptional service at both. I never dress up and usually wear jeans and a polo shirt. When I met Jacob I was wearing a $20 Walmart watch.

The staff at north park mall in dallas have been nothing but friendly to me and attentive when I try on the brand new releases. However I stopped going out of guilt because I would just end up driving up to Frisco to buy the watches.

I have never been in an OB. Bought my watch from my Local AD in Brighton ( goldsmiths ). May have to pop into an OB when next in London for the experience, wanted to pop in when in Rome but my partner was less than keen to venture in without any intention to purchase something.

I picked up my Speedmaster Moonphase Master Co-Axial Chronometer Chronograph (whew... The Blue Moonie) while on vacay in Puerto Rico ~3 months ago, where they just happened to have an OB! I contacted the Boutique in San Juan before our trip, to ask if they had one in stock..., to my amazement - they did! My local AD could not get one. San Juan was getting one in and it should be there by the time we arrived. He penciled my name on it. I can't begin to tell you what a great experience it was working with Cristóbal and his staff in San Juan!

We were greeted with some very nice champagne and The Macallan (James Bond's Scotch - wow!), as they proceeded to bring out the watch. We talked at length and the conversation flowed like the Scotch... He could tell I was a WIS and him as well. I gotta believe the level of knowledge at a Boutique is exponentially higher than at an AD, at least the ones, I have been in.

We struck up a deal and he informed me that I could save a boat load of money in taxes, etc., If he shipped it to me. I was really reluctant to walk out empty handed but my better judgement took over (I can't believe that!), and I decided he was right. He told me he would ship it to me Next Day, after I returned home. He apparently felt bad about me leaving empty handed, as well and packed up some nice "parting gifts", in the little red Omega Bag. A nice bottle of champagne for the wife and I to celebrate with later and some excellent, books and brochures/reading materials. Then he threw in a very nice men's Cologne that they have just released and only available at the Omega Boutiques. The wife and I really like the fragrance and I will probably stay with it.

Upon returning home I call and he ships out the watch immediately. The FedEx guy shows up at my door the next day bearing a huge package! Cristóbal had included so many extras it was unbelievable! Books, literature, brochures, etc., all packaged very carefully. One gift being extremely thoughtful and personal!

That gorgeous deep blue sunburst dial, the realistic NASA image depiction of the moon with, even one of Buzz Aldrin's footprints on the surface! The subtle red accents on the chrono tip, half moon date indicator and the Speedy text. I love the look of the dark blue alligator deployant strap that came with it but I also had them install the SS bracelet. They stole it right off of one of the Black versions! I learned very early in my collecting that, if possible, put away the original strap and save it. I will also wear it with a blue custom alligator made at a later date. I just love the look of it on the bracelet and they did as well, even taking pix of it. They told me it was now a custom watch and probably another does not exist... I'm good with that! One of, if not, the best watch buying experiences, I have ever had! I was originally considering GM, but after all of this and the relationship we have established... I am very glad I didn't.

I think I answered all of the questions. The OB in San Juan, Puerto Rico... ROCKS!!

Here's the little beauty...

I will give a shout out to the San Diego OB.

Late last year they called me to let me know they had a Snoopy watch and asked if I wanted to buy it. I passed, but told then to call another member here and that worked out great. They are always nice and friendly and clearly like their jobs. They provide exceptional service. I have had a couple of watches serviced and several bracelets polished. And they are always open to cleaning and testing all the Omega watches I own.

Also, they are cool about not making it seem awkward when I walk in wearing a used watch after I had tried on in the showroom (skyfall, Ploprof, SM300ti, POXLti).

I bought my CK2998 from the OB.
Couldn't agree more, the San Diego OB is top notch. They recently tested my Speedmaster Prof while i waited, drank espresso and tried on the new Ploprof Ti. And yes, I fell in love with the new Ploprof Ti. No date, incredibly light weight for it's massive size and surprisingly VERY comfortable on the wrist. I will soon own one. It's only a matter of time. Anywho, I have great respect for the people that work at the San Diego OB. They always make me feel like a valued customer.

My Rio OB in the Shopping Leblon wins hands down of course. Giulliano (boutique manager) and Renata always make me feel at home. Excellent service and lots of fringe benefits (events, dinners etc)....including all the Omega House events during the Olympics and the tickets to the football final between Brazil and Germany, with Omega VIP van transfer included!

I have been to the OB on 5th avenue, Houston Galleria and Nashville (let me kindly charge my dying cell phone whilst I was shopping at Green Hill Malls). Always offered coffee and water and treated well at any OB, but sales staff have not matched Giulliano's know-how and passion for Omega!

I agree,
The OB in GreenHills Nashville is fantastic as far as friendliness!
The one guy I always search out (I think his name is Richard. Need to look up his card) seems to be a fellow enthusiast as he has a few nice pieces and is well versed in the history of most any omega.
I can confirm his friendliness inspite of what you may be wearing.
I have a few brands as well as Omega but the first ever trip to that OB, I was wearing a beat to hell Casio WorldTime that you can pick up at any Walmart for $25. Lol!
We talked for close to an hour about the Speedmaster History, RAILmaster history, Archie Luxury, hot rods, and our addiction to caffeine. Genuine good dude.
