··Ash @ ΩFApollo 11 35th and Gemini IV are the only alternatives I'd consider, both are superb.
If your budget is around 10k, I'd suggest giving someone 4k for their ST pre-order 😎
Welcome! How about the new Heuer Autavia? Seems to check all of the boxes. Reverse Panda, well under budget, and it's damn sexy to boot...
I'll give up my ST spot for $4k... 😁
You can try to pick up an old Speedmaster 3507.51. I did, I switched out the original hands for broad arrow hands. It's a 42mm Speedmaster, not a reduced. You can get them for around $3K - when you can find them. I am thinking about selling this one to chase after a grail - once I get the boss to sign off on it. Up close you see the red hash marks but on the wrist looking at it for the time the red hash marks are very subtle. I loved it because it is so close in design to the old Daytona.

Having just checked other photos on the web, why is the actual date showing to be in a different position ?
I.e the figure "8" is lying on its side, or was this just a technical glitch!
Seriously, though, if I were you, I'd just pick up a Speedy Tuesday second hand shortly after release!
Title should be " Alternatives Panda dial watch " not "SpeedyTuesday Speedmaster alternatives" 😁
There's currently no alternative for the SpeedyTuesday LE and lots of aficionados are anxiously awaiting 2019, to see if Omega brings out a historically correct "50 years Apollo 11" Speedmaster with black dial and DON bezel... in other words, keep the current trend of superb new Speedy editions
This. Two reasons:
First, $10,000 CDN is roughly $1,000 more USD than the Speedy Tuesday list price, and certainly there will be plenty of profiteers moving them unworn at that premium within the first month of release.
Second, the Speedy Tuesday has all the hallmarks of a regretful purchase for many holding a reservation. This watch above all others is an internet phenomenon fueled by like-minded people on social media. What looks good in photographs and in online conversation can look insignificant once it's in someone's home and the attention has faded. If you can wait 2 to 6 months you will see these on the secondary market in slightly worn condition below MSRP.
