I got curious about prices on the Connie from another topic, so I decided to start a thread with real prices on this model. How much might a gold Connie Pie Pan 167.005 on a gold Omega bracelet cost, not from this model?

Haven’t yet got the bug for these.

TBH, still not sure how I caught it for C Case Connies.

I may need a booster 😵‍💫

My friendly advice to you is that it's better not to catch the bug for them because it's hard to get out of it.

In condition like the one shown in the pictures, I would think $2.5-4k would be fair today.

Are you sure that it is an Omega bracelet? It looks like a generic one to me.

Stunning watch!

I'm not sure if the bracelet is an Omega original, so I'd be happy to consult.

So I still haven't reached the level I bought for, and I thought I was a little ahead. Thanks

Is that yellow or rose gold?

This is yellow gold. You have a 2648 to compare with the rose gold case

Lovely watch. No idea of the value. Perhaps it would be worth putting it in a well-advertised auction. A watch in this sort of condition could prompt a bidding war.

I think your starting price is a bit light - ignoring the carefully obscured engraving for a moment, I would suggest a no date 18k dogleg pie pan in good nick to start at $3k, head-only.

I have no intention of selling it just wanted a consultation on how much it might be worth. In another topic they are asking $3K for polished gold/steel and when I asked about gold with a gold bracelet they quoted me 2.5-4K. I think scrap gold is worth that much. Except I don't take everything seriously.

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. Generally unless I'm selling a watch I don't feel the need to know its value.

Well, everyone's going to have slightly different takes regarding price. If you were to ask me about a Steel/YG 167.005, my maximum (great-impeccable condition) would be probably $2k, more if w/ correct B&P.

Agreed - an 18k pie pan in that condition would be scooped up quickly for $3000. The bracelet is a bit more difficult to value as this type doesn’t come up for sale often. My guess would be about $2500.

Not an expert on gold Constellations at all but would not be willed to spend more than $ 2,5k for the watch (heads only; maybe a bit more without the engraving on the caseback)

No information on prices for original gold bracelets or what they sell for.

About half a year ago I bought a 14394 de luxe with railroad dial from an auction house for less than EUR 2k (buyers premium included; not mint but in very good condition)

Just to compare prices.

This is a poor comparison between Rail Track Dial and 167.005 in my estimation of reality.

Hi Skand,
as told I am not an expert on Constellations but I am interested in your opinion.

Why are those examples not compareable and what is so special on a 167.005. (if I got you right you would quote prices for a 167 005 higher than for a de luxe rail track)

Thanks
Duffy

Great watch Duffy! I’d take it over a standard, non deluxe pie pan but value wise I think they’d be similar. A good condition but not mint deluxe railtrack sold on eBay recently for just under $3.4K, so you got yours for a great price.

Hi Duffy7.

It is the market that sets prices, and Rail Track Dial is not bought at auction for high sums. I had a beautiful rose gold/steel and sold it for the equivalent of about $900 at auction

I am with you that the market sets the price but in my opinion good examples will fetch good prices. (I don't think that a rail track conny is less sought after than a 167.005 if they are both in very good condition)
