Hello friends, I saw this Omega Constellation and the seller said it was 675 dollars. I asked for detailed photos. The case is polished, the dial and the machine look very clean. So what do you think in general, is this a good price or is it high? What are your thoughts?

And

I like this rare Omega Racing dial, the seller said it costs 650 dollars and is in all original condition. What do you think about the price?

Thank you, regards.

It's a 168.017 - 168.027 has a white gold knurled bezel

I think you better pass, but for no big reason, it has all service hands, not really a bad thing, I think the main bad thing is overly polished bezel and the particle on the dial indicating mishandling

I’ll generally defer to @kaplan but it looks good for the price

Thnx I decided to pass. I was a bit put off by how polished the case was.

I like this rare Dynamic Racing dial for 650 dollars. It seems like a good price, what do you think about it? I'm told it's in original condition.

You can compare yours with the example in Desmond’s article here: http://download1532.mediafire.com/s...phE4p/knazxmyqdzd/Omega+Geneve+Dynamic+I+.pdf

These models (the most common ones) typically go for 400-600$ depending on condition and bracelet/strap etc. This one has a racing dial, which is not rare, but less common. The case needs to retain its original finish to be attractive (looks like it on the photos but the resolution isn’t the best).

No polishing on the case. Doesn't the fact that it is less common make it rare for collectors? Overall, current market prices seem to be between 850 and 1100 dollars. So I think I got a good deal.

I guess it’s all relative - I see various examples each year on eBay, so less frequent than the typical blue one is clear, but rare is perhaps a bit of a stretch.

The price seems around what one could expect, hadn’t understood you had already bought it. That said I am not sure there is a big market for these at 1100$ but I haven’t been paying too much attention to this reference since I got mine some time ago.

In any case, the dial looks original so that’s the key. There were lots of fakes floating around a few years ago.

Enjoy the watch!

Thank you sir. Yes, I think 1100 dollars is maybe difficult but not impossible. But I think it could easily be 850 dollars because the common Dynamic models are already selling between 600 and 750 dollars.

Price sounds fair. They take a long time to hunt down if you want one in good original condition.

The only issue with that one seems to be the bracelet. AFAIK that is a fake bracelet.

The bracelet is not a fake. How did you think of that?
