QC help: Please evaluate this Omega Constellation Pie Pan dial 167.005

I have a seller on Instagram who is selling this Omega Constellation Pie Pan dial 167.005 for $1700.

I have not bought any Omega watch before, and I would like some assistance. I have purchased another watch from this seller in the past, but in terms of a quality-check for this watch, I'd appreciate some feedback!

Also, is the bracelet original?

Whilst the dial doesn't pass the 'MOY' test is does appear original.
The case could be better but would probably look better on the wrist than in macro shots.
The BOR bracelet is aftermarket.

The biggest issue IMHO is the 'unpleasant-ness" appearing around the 1, 5 & 6 indices.
- it looks like glue but could be moisture intrusion.

For that reason I would pass on this watch - and certainly wouldn't pay $1700 for it.

Yea that’s top dollar asking price and the nastiness on the dial I wouldn’t be able to unsee and it would bother me all the time

Look at the sharpness of embossed piepan lines. So original, not redial, which is my main consideration for a piepan. It's highly impossible to restore sharp piepan edges if redialed. Also, sunburst at that. Just a little haggle for the price.

Tough crowd here. I like it, and the dial and case imperfections do not bother me at all. These “dog leg” cases are often over polished, but not this one. A good case back photo is needed to see the condition of the medalion. The crown looks original. I always thought the “MOY” test only applies to cross hair dials. Anyway, the dial is clearly original. See if you can get the price down a little, but I think this is a good one, FWIW.

To paraphrase Desmond - the MOY test applies to all Constellations, except when it doesn’t.
And this is a good example of the latter but a dogleg pie pan failing the test is an uncommon sight.

A tough crowd, yes, but one that hates to see people over-pay.

Head only in this condition is not a $1700 or even a $1500 watch, maybe $1100-$1200 particularly with the dial issues. And we haven't seen the back or movement.

I don’t like the look of the staining on the 1 & 6 indices either, I’d insist on seeing a movement shot as well in case it is moisture ingress and the movement is damaged
