The S was probably broken off the stamp until someone noticed it.
Makes sense!

Any maybe when they did notice they just stopped using it..

For example I have 4+ of these myself: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164288642717?hash=item26405dbe9d:g:Qa4AAOSwkYlfDIDU - so in this case it makes sense that he's drip feeding, maybe the original owner of the estate was a hoarder too 😀

The crown you originally shared triggered me as the side profile was one I've never seen before, but seeing the other crowns it's probably original now

Well, have a seldom seen one...
Can you post a photo of the front of the buckle. I have never seen a solid white gold Dynamic buckle. Interesting.

I've sent the first stalker message to see whether he's interested in selling, or I assume the first 😀

Good luck finding a 18K Dynamic to pair it with 😉

Dear Respectable Members

Can anyone tell me if this buckle is genuine? The Acier Inox, Swiss and Depose stampings look good but I have never seen the word "OMEGA" embossed on a buckle. Any input would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

I have never seen one like it with Omega on the back. The Omega symbol looks strange. I would say it is fake, but I may stand corrected

I have this what I'm guessing rather uncommon buckle since its in solid 18k gold, and also with a slightly different profile than most you'll see.
Does anyone have an estimated year of when this style was produced? And what would a value roughly be, it looks unworn and is 14mm (sitting on a unworn Omega strap).
Hi, it's for sale? What price? Thx bro ...

The dimension of the strap? On the buckle is 14mm, in the other part?

And while I'm here, let me add another buckle to this database, one which I recently acquired after a long hunt.

A width of 16mm. I believe from the 30s - I could be wrong, please correct me if I am!

@VintageOmegaLove

A little late but I have one and when searching found your post and our member Franco's great 30mm site shows this advertisement.

And our member Erich's outstanding ode (in book form) to 30mm's has no example.

Franco says maybe 1950's

Has anybody discovered a date range for these USA Market buckles in the intervening time?

Mine has neither Hallmarks nor wear-through, so I will just call it yellow, for now.

Bought this on Chrono24 and received it yesterday, and hoping you guys can help. It's supposedly from the 2010s and was new in package. Can anyone confirm its authenticity please? I have some doubts and have already contacted Chrono24, but if I'm wrong I can tell them to disregard. Your help is much appreciated!

Fake with fake packaging.

Has to be made in China. Spelling isn’t even close.

Get your money back.

Guys, need your help.
I've read the complete thread, but still not sure if the 16mm buckle that is being offered to me is original.

The Omega logo has sharp edges, but seems to be very wide and has an unusual shape. Stamp on the back looks a bit sloppy and is missing the manufacturer stamp. However, there have also been some stamps similar to this one on buckles that were classified as original. And the accents on the DÉPOSÉ are missing, and there is only little space between ACIER and INOX.

What do you think?
Thanks a lot!
