Went to an AD today to finally take a look at one in person. It was the slate dial, bright blue seconds hand version that was originally posted on this thread. It was amazing how much that slate dial can look very gray or slightly blue just depending on the light. It looked way more gray than I was anticipating; however, it was on the steel bracelet. They didn't have one on the blue rubber strap, which I would think would make the dial look more on the blueish side. Anyway, the color in person was not nearly as blue as I've seen in pictures, but again, could be for the reasons listed above. Either way, absolutely loved it.

This is a big reason why I want to support a AD over buying on line. Yes you save money on line but it's so important to have a store you can go to to actually see the watches in person. If you then buy on line after trying them out in the store, that AD may not be around too long either.

Just got this one delivered last night and couldn't be happier. Went back and forth between bracelet and strap and really happy I chose what I did.

I saw this watch for the first time today. Oh my goodness, it's such a beautiful dress watch thst is also modern. Very sharp, light weight, feels great to wear and look at.
looks like your crown isn't screwed in

Hello watch brother. You can do a lot with different straps on that watch. I purchased mine with the same band as yours but I've played around with many other options. Below is a Hirsh that I recently acquired.

I think the leather strap sets it off perfectly but the rubber one is also cool

That's the one. I went with the silver buckle, though. It is very comfortable. I also purchased a white with black stiching performance strap from Hirsch, just to mix it up a bit.
Meant to say “deployant” - don’t tell HODINKEE on me...

I hate bringing up old threads, but I just had to update. After 9 months making this thread, I finally got it!
I have gone through a few other watches since, waiting for one of these to hit the used market at a good price. Found one selling locally so this last Friday, I went on my lunch to purchase it. I love it!

Beautiful!
But the weird angle of the photo make it look bigger than the wrist. Can I suggest to take your shots holding the smartphone less closer?
