When i see pictures of the AT I fall in love with it, but when I try it on something happens that I don't like it that much. I spent 2 years searching for a Spectre AT at a price point that I was willing to pay. When I finally found it, full set, it was a safe queen, I tried it on and it just wasn´t for me. I've owned 1 AT and ended up selling it after 2 months because there was something about it that I didn't like.

I don't have a newer model, but I still enjoy wearing my older Aqua Terra after all these years

This is the model that I really like. It’s always kept it’s value well and it’s just a stunner. Especially in the 38.5mm. Very beautiful and easy to read watch.

I would agree with the most here, AT is an amazeing watch and could serve a perfect purpose of beeing the only watch, since it is so versatile.
It has a really nice wrist presence without beeing blingy. Especially the one without polished center links on the bracelet.
I must admit i had some minor issues that disterbed me personally a little bit. Like the lume on the hour hand is so tiny, that i could hardly tell the time at night. At the same time the seconds hand is almost as present as the minute hand. I wasnt happy setting the date with jumping hour. And last but not least, i would have been happier if the case would have been slightly thinner.
That is so sad but i had to let this one go since these minor issues kind of bugged me. I still miss the dial though, it is one of a kind! Makes me happy everytime i look at those beautiful photos.
I agree - they could just have gone without lume, it's so poor. Also 2-3mm less height wouldn't have hurt. Still one of the most beautiful watches ever, IMHO!

I could not agree more with you! but it would be much easier to just improve the hour hand lume, than redesign the whole face. And make that seconds hand slightly thinner..

I I have a 2008 Aqua terra with the blue hands and indices and the silver/cream dial. The blue is remarkable as the hue changes with light and viewing angle- sometimes it looks baby blue, other times it looks powder blue, through to teal blue, navy and then almost black.

The brown strap makes it look at the formal end, but it is still casual enough to wear on the weekend.

Me too, absolutely love that watch

I keep thinking about getting the 8500 powered aqua terras but every time I try them on they are so thick. I would personally love to get a master coaxial with the PCL's, I like the date at 3 and the dial orientation better than the newer ones. The icing on the top is the price is cheaper for the one I prefer 😉

I think of the Aqua Terra as a great all around watch. It can be dressed up or down. Goes with everything from t-shirt and jeans to a suit. It a beautiful watch but not ostentatious.

41.5mm. It's almost the perfect watch. Had I to do it again I would select the 38mm.

have fun

Prefer the first generation as are really thin compared to the 2nd and third generations

I really like the mesh bracelet - where did you get that from amd what is its specific part number?

I bought a 38mm skyfall AT here. It’s been my favorite. Perfect size for my wrist. There’s just something special about it.

Back when the SkyFall came out, I always had trouble deciding between it and the grey dial. This latest slate blue/grey sealed my fate to buy an AT.

Went to an AD today to finally take a look at one in person. It was the slate dial, bright blue seconds hand version that was originally posted on this thread. It was amazing how much that slate dial can look very gray or slightly blue just depending on the light. It looked way more gray than I was anticipating; however, it was on the steel bracelet. They didn't have one on the blue rubber strap, which I would think would make the dial look more on the blueish side. Anyway, the color in person was not nearly as blue as I've seen in pictures, but again, could be for the reasons listed above. Either way, absolutely loved it.

I agree that it does not look as blue as Omega's advertising. There is a pretty big difference between it and the darker blue version (which is also awesome).

Thanks!
I love how the AT dial produces different shade of blue based on how the light hits the dial....

I love mine. Grabbed in new last November and wear it 3-4x a week. My most accurate watch. Also went with the rubber since it’s comfortable and I didn’t like the bracelet with this colored dial.
I have that one, too. Bought it with the brown leather strap and then added the rubber strap like yours a few months later to provide a more casual option. Then I saw this Hirsch strap with bolder orange accents.
