    Hey everyone

I took a short step back from the Omega world and regretfully sold off all my Omega watches. 2531.80, SMP Black ceramic, AT Golf. I am the kind of person who is always after something different. After the big sale, I purchased Rolex. After a few months of running a Submariner No Date Ceramic, I felt it really wasn't for me and I missed my Omegas

I was lucky to come across 2 great pieces in almost perfect condition. Without any James Bond stigma attached, I absolutely love the classic Blue Bond watches. Pre 2500 co-axial movement or Ceramic models although they are great too. There is just something about this design and color that I can't stay away from. Its also my dream watch since I was 10 years old.
    I purchased a Mint 2531.80 and 2541.80.
Why 2 of the same watch? I like the quartz as a pick up and go watch that I'm not scared to beat around a bit. The Automatic is just a collectors piece that ill someday pass down.
Is it silly? This is not the end of my watch fetish by any means, but for now....

Nice work. I like it. I have a Quartz and am hunting around for an automatic as well. Bottom line, you can never have too many Omega's.

I have the same watch in both Quartz and ceramic Co-Ax... My favourite watch design for many of the same reasons you mention.

Your rationale in purchasing both the quartz and auto is sound. Good looking watches!

Good choices. I like the Blue wave quartz (have one), but if it had been me I might have gone for a newer ceramic Seamaster Pro or a Planet Ocean 2500 as my automatic, to mix things up a little.
