anecdotally, around $30K, though there was one last year on ebay that went for 12,500. All depends on condition as these dials are known (well, observed) to deteriorate in unique ways - generally with the lume spreading out over the hour plots.

Very interesting. I would have thought more.
It's true that we don't even know what they are exactly...

Hi folks,
Happy to be new and reading this thread about my watch 馃榾
This is indeed a family gift, I received it from my father, who received it from his former step-brother. The former step-brother didn't use this one (I think he had some rollex watches and wasn't interested in this one and gave it to my father, as far as I know).
I am honnestly not interested neither willing to sell my watch. The emotional value is much higher as prices I've read. The reason I am doing research with the help of very few people is quite simple, I try to find out more about my father's past, because some years ago he has had a stroke and now it's quite difficult to have a conversation with him. I told him about this research and have made the promess not to sell it. If it turns out to be a metallic dial, I'll try to find someone trustable in order to have the inner parts reviewed and if needed replaced by the original ones.
Once the research will be ended, I will give an update and post some new pictures...
Take care and hopefully 'till soon with more news...

What would you like to know?

I think these are from a very narrow date range 67-69 I think.

At present what I think @eldehen needs to know is what this watch is. It looks like a metallic. But not 100% sure yet, and is it blue, or a grey if so? Serial number is currently unknown. Movement unseen. And I don鈥檛 know enough to feel confident about saying which other parts are, or are not correct. Hence call for help in other thread. N.

I can pretty much guarantee from those pictures it is a blue metallic dial. They are rare, and this one looks very nice. I would definitely keep it, not only for sentimental reasons but also because I think the value of these is likely to increase

Welcome to Omega Forums @eldehen ... that's a rather spectacular way to say "hello". Amazing timepiece, so rare, that will be something you can hand down and hopefully tell a long and rich story of family history when doing so. 馃憤

the finishing is not strong like the ''short index'' metallic-soleil-sunburst

and have nothing to do with the glossy grey-bluish dial

this is like these

third type blue dials!

Thank you very much for your careful analysis.
Is there any place I can get more info about the "third type of blue dials"? I still have to fix some meetings with people I can trust - at least according to omegaforums, where trusting means "I see and take pictures of what you do with my watch" - but any additional information is welcome...
Many thanks in advance!!!

Hi folks,
Sorry for late news... Since I wasn't able to take the good pictures to have the watch certified a 'blue dial', and due to burglary in my area, I have been to a luxury jewelry shop and asked to have my watch reviewed... He confirmed it was a 145012-67 SP speedy, with a 321 callibre, all pieces seemed to be ok (except the seconds indicator), with a 26554889 serial number (build around '68 or '69?); the bracelet is a 1171/633 model. His assumptions were that this model is more recent as the watch, but if he reminded well, this brace model started to be made in 1969; so if the watch was build in '69, maybe it was shipped with it. Oh, he also confirmed it's a metallic dial (very probably grey), in good health 馃榾
The archive has been ordered, so hopefully I'll get soon some more news/history about my watch's and familial history 馃榾
