I tried contacting these guys a couple of months ago about his watch because they had it listed on they're website. After no reply for a week to my e-mails, I get one back saying the watch had been sold a while ago??? Sorry, needed to rant a little! http://www.vintagegoldwatches.com/product/omega-18k-auto-centenary-1944/ http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ome...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item35c67bea85Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
In the seller's description: Dial: May have been restored at some point, but if so has been done to the highest possible standards.
Dial had me fooled for a moment until I saw this eBay close-up: Hands could probably be replaced with correct ones. The seconds hand looks like one of those generics where you snip off the tail if you want to. The logo on "Chronometre" is totally wrong and the Omega symbol is way off-kilter. I wouldn't be paying $4K for this one. gatorcpa
