    Hy guys,
Last November I had the pleasure of being invited a couple of days (with Matteo " The Master of Speed " and other friends) to a meeting organized in Geneva from important local resellers, the Davidoff Brothers, in collaboration with Greg and Anthony, authors of the amazing book " Moonwatch Only", where were exposed some of the most representative models of a watch that I particularly like: the Omega Speedmaster
It is treated to a roundup of some of the rarest Speed, restricted to period 1957 (year of marketing of this beautiful timepiece) to mid 80s around ...... in addition, a source of pride for me and Matteo, we have made available some pieces for this meeting ...
They were present unique pieces ordered by NASA to Omega, small numbers of prototypes dials and pieces of "normal" production but with a level of quality and aesthetics truly superior
The organizers have employed nearly two years to collect all the pieces presented at the meeting and I assume that it will be difficult to see a high number of important pieces all together again
    We could see these references:

Finally, went out almost all the guests and have stayed in a few close friends, we managed to enjoy all along these beauties pulling them out of display cases in which, objectively, they were a bit tight ...... a unique spectacle :taunt::thumbsup:
So, to forget these wonders, we all together went to get lost in the fumes of the worst pubs in Geneva !!! ::psy::::psy::::psy:: Cheers !!!

What an amazing thread. Incredible pictures of beautiful and rare watches any one of which would be the ultimate treasure in a Speedmaster collection. Thanks for posting.

Could the Davidoff Brothers be persuaded to do another exhibition? Maybe members here could support this?

    Doctor Steel

I find your avatar a bit unsettling when I am trying to concentrate on images of Speedmasters....

I recognize a few of my ex speedies here....good to know, that they found good homes with collectors. I still have the only military issued Speedmaster together with the issued Railmaster/named Flightmaster, for the FAP and wear them often. as pictured in the Omega catalogue for the FAP with buying prices for the Peruvian airforce from the 50`s. these 2 models are the only ones, that omega marketed in the catalogue to the FAP. kind regards. achim

Very cool, and an example to the others of how to photograph a GTG, thanks so much for sharing!

Do you perhaps have any pictures of the Omega/FAP catalogue to share?

Not quite sure the London GTG will assemble such a stellar selection of watches

There clearly wasn't as much alcohol as there was at the last London GTG. ;)
