So, my 25441067 Ed is also a 145.003? ::psy::

I’d be interested in the email, obviously.

What date does your extract show for yours?
here's the letter, some a couple redactions just to be on the safe side...

Subject: RE: Extract - incorrect?

Dear Mr oddboy,

We may have told you the watch was identified with a 145.003 reference, but this reference was never produced and engraved inside the case back, it was a reference used at that time only by the logistics department. In fact, all the 145.003 was officially named 105.003. This is why we cannot provide you with an extract that mentions a 145.003 reference.

However, would it be possible to provide us with a picture (highest definition possible) of the interior of the case back of the watch ?

Warm regards,

Mr. C-A B

Indeed. And if it were French, it would be "poussoirs speciale," not "speciale poussoirs."
to be completely right in French it would have been "Poussoir spécial" ou "Poussoirs spéciaux" 😜
just kidding of course

Fwiw, am extract won't specify 145.003. I have one, and though interaction with the museum , they confirmed that it would have been referred to internally as a 145.003, but the reference is still 105.003. They said specifically that 145.003 was an internal logistics designation only and was not a reference itself.

I can dig out the conversation, but it's all via email. Before I knew that, I ordered an extract hoping to see 145.003 on there, and even went back to them when the extract arrived indicating 105.003.

Interesting case though .

There are archives around stating 145.003 though. I have seen a couple.

Thanks, Michael

For posterity

Speedmaster101 extract:

Omega Forum thread extract

And everyone note: they are both for 105.003s, yet the lower serial number is produced eight months after the higher number.

Of course, maybe the answer is just in the fact that the second extract is from 2012?

Is 4 years (well, 3.5) too long to go back on my email thread and share those images? 😁

Could you give us at least two more digits to your serial number?

These extracts that state 145.003 - are they from the period when Omega was putting owner info on the certificate, rather than just what was in the archives?

Didn’t realize these existed. Learning new stuff for me around here often. Thanks for the discussion.

I think 2010 is around when Omega changed that.

What i think is interesting is that they're all a few years before my attempt . I wonder what would happen if you tree to get an extract for the same watch today .

I don’t think Special pushers is correct. There are plenty of cases marked SP with no pushers. Special referring to water resistance makes sense though

I’ve said that many times, but the idea it refers to pushers persists...

I believe it simply means “special” and can refer to something different on the case, with the “something” being a variety of things.

Here is what I am hoping.
145.003 10501-add9f0e56dafc9b0f47a3a7191f7acb2.jpg Credit to @SpikiSpikester for the above photo.

And @Spacefruit for this>
SP = speciale poussoirs

"Special pushers"

Upgraded for better water resistance
Also said special plounger for special water instead of pushers.

Another 105.003-65 SP here.
Exactly the same spec as my friends watch, pushers, crown and hands produced in 1967.
These are the only two I have ever seen.
Any more out there? Photos please.
Cheers, Michael

And here we have the 3rd Speedmaster 003-SP around 40 digits away from one of the others.
