    A mate of mine has just sent me a couple of photos of his 105.003, I inspected it a while ago for him and said the pushers were replacement and the chrono hand and crown too.
    I didn’t see the SP on the end of the reference.
    Could this be a late 105.003 with parts as it left the factory? Newer style crown, chrono hand and crown? Anyone else seen this reference with SP before?
    Or are these just service parts?
    Serial is 2544xxxx
    Thanks, Michael

    Looks like they added that SP later. Maybe the replaced the old pushers with the new "SP" pushers and stamped it in backcase.

    Not sure about hand and crown, but I have seen the ST 105.003-65 SP a couple of times. The movement # matches a late production, so this watch seems generally legit to me.

    I always believed these to be the 'mysterious' ref. 145.003.

    Edit: While looking for pictures, Google just found this one:

    A 145.003 had crossed my mind, I am ordering the archive today so hopefully it might mention something.

    The watch in the link sounds like a twisted lug 105.012 not a 105.003 though.

    Thanks, Michael

    Yes, correct. I didn't read the whole description of this ebay auction from 2012 and it's obviously all a bit weird if you do... One would have to see the pics.

    Anyway, I confirm to have seen the ST 105.003-65 with the 'SP' in the past.

    Stop me if I am wrong but these pushers look like the Wide & Tall from MWO, these pushers are not supposed to be fitted on a straight lug case, so definitely a later replacement (and so for the crown) but the case might have been damaged to be able to receive these pushers...
    I had the case on a franken speedy I bought for some parts and fortunately my watchmaker has been able to fix the case to receive correct pushers for a straight lug case
    About the hand the chrono one is a later replacement but hour & minute look correct to me

    No need to stop you, since you're right. :)

    But the OP stated already that the pushers are replacements.

    The question was, if a 1967 105.003-65 might have had a different crown and sweep second from factory, as can be found on ref. 145.012-67.

    SP = Service Parts ;)

    Edit to make sure it’s clear it's tongue in cheek

    Here is what I am hoping.
    145.003[IMG]Credit to @SpikiSpikester for the above photo.

    And @Spacefruit for this>
    SP = speciale poussoirs

    "Special pushers"

    Upgraded for better water resistance

    Thanks, I though it looked familiar but couldn’t find it. That is standard for anything in JTT, for me anyway.

    I don’t think Special pushers is correct. There are plenty of cases marked SP with no pushers. Special referring to water resistance makes sense though

    Fwiw, am extract won't specify 145.003. I have one, and though interaction with the museum , they confirmed that it would have been referred to internally as a 145.003, but the reference is still 105.003. They said specifically that 145.003 was an internal logistics designation only and was not a reference itself.

    I can dig out the conversation, but it's all via email. Before I knew that, I ordered an extract hoping to see 145.003 on there, and even went back to them when the extract arrived indicating 105.003.

    Interesting case though .

    Indeed. And if it were French, it would be "poussoirs speciale," not "speciale poussoirs."

    I’d be interested in the email, obviously.

    What date does your extract show for yours?
