Hey OF,
can 5513 gurus comment on these hands please. They seem to deteriorate faster than the rest.
This will be my first vintage Rolex. I appreciate your thoughts.

I don't have any concerns with the hands based on those photos. The crown guards are a different story.

Looks pretty normal to me.
These older hands often pit and flake. Unusual to find as usually they have been changed out at service. This is a gilt 5513 with attractive "frosted" hands.
Note the degradation of the gloss laquer at most of the minute track. Fortunately this doesn't notice when wearing and has not progessed since I have owned it.

The crown guards are badly overpolished. I can't see the rest of the case, but you might want to take a close look at the lugs.
Thank you gents.

This appears to be a non-serif dial from the late 60s/early 70s, so it would probably be ok with either a rivet 7206 bracelet (#80 end-links) or a folded link 9315 bracelet with flip-lock clasp (#380 end-links). I think that you will be looking at a minimum of $2k.

This is an international forum, so it's best to indicate the currency unit.

$12k USD, Dan

Thanks All. A decent 5513 is harder to come by. I remember they were in the $7K not long ago.
stuffing back all these dollar bills in my piggy bank.

Really? 5513 bracelet for $700 from Rolex service center. That’s a steal.
So service and a new bracelet for under $2k?

what’s i.t.r.o.?

That does sound like a very good price for a new 93150 bracelet (370 GBP is actually roughly $500 USD); almost worth flying to the UK. Last I heard it was about $1250 USD. Still cheaper than a period-correct bracelet.
