oops I thought this thread was about a new 300M. The 42mm one. I’d love a 39mm version of that....

new 300m best watch theyve ever made imo

Just got mine yesterday after a month wait. I took the bracelet off right away (with all the plastic still on it) and put it in the box and keeping it on a Nato.

I noticed recently that prices even on the grey market have been creeping up on these.

LOL that's exactly what i did with mine when I got it in January. Bracelet hasn't been resized and still wrapped. On that Omega Bond nato since getting it...

Any updates on the potential update? Been a while since this thread started, and still nothing from Omega. Wondering if/when we might see something 😗

Until Omega updates their site or does an event, we won't know.

Fair -- was just hoping someone might have the inside scoop!

Think about the possibility, though, of a second-generation Seamaster 300 that's modeled on the mid-1960s version, with a fully lumed bezel. I'm in.

This would be incredible! I own a Seamaster 300 from the 1957 trilogy release and it’s one of my favorites.

The manager at my local boutique told me he understood the new model would be thinner with a different movement. No mention of a 165.024 homage. Until it actually comes out, who knows?

Omega have rearranged their site, they have moved the seamaster 300 m under to a new category called "heritage" , they have also shifted the modern railmaster there,

I dont know about you guys but it does seem like Omega rebranding the 300 m and railmaster to "heritiage models" suggests that there might be some shifts or changes in strategy with these models. I mean they are sharing a page with the Ploprof and Bullhead?

The core 4 lines are still there, they just cleaned up/consolidated the groupings of all the models. Personally, I do not see this as an indication of a shift in brand strategy, but simply cleaning up their website for easier navigation and user experience.

could be, I always thought the MC was a core model it certainly has been around as long as other core models.

Calling the Railmaster an Omega Seamaster Railmaster was kind of dumb.

Anyone ever hear anything new on this?
I just assumed the information was jumbled and the nekton was the watch we were being told was coming. Still hoping for a watchco style release soon.

possible if they threw in an 8806, but then we would lose the hour wheel failure feature we all love

My 38mm Aqua Terra has the 8800 inside it and its 12mm thick with a 46/47mm lug-to-lug. They can do it - they just can't be bothered to make a smaller one to sit alongside the 42.

I view it as a revival piece, a 1957 SM 300 reimagined for the modern day (vs. the full on reissue of the LE). I think the diver 300M became the core model of the 300 series. Anyhow, would love to see an update, but also since I don’t intend to part with my SM 300MC, I will inevitably have FOMO when it’s released.

Reposted Pictures:

I like the thinner case and the bracelet, but I really dislike how they went with an anodized aluminum bezel, used very thin panerai-style numbers, changed the printing from silver to white/brown, and thinned the minute and hour hands to the point where the typical dauphine profile is broken with a circle. The conical crown is okay, but the way it's shaped makes it look like it's sticking out from the case much more than it probably is. I like how they mirrored the knurling on the bezel, but if the crown were shorter or recessed slightly like the Aqua Terra crowns that would make it look nicer, IMO.

Not exactly doing it for me like the limited edition of the SMP for the Swiss Army but I like a lot of what they did here. I love open 6's and 9's and we get that along with the numerals being lumed. The dial looks very clean, moving the chronometer text to the back. I've never been a fan of lollipop seconds hands but the Spectre one has grown on me so I suspect this one will too. The straight lugs... one of the reasons I sold my Seamaster 300 Master Co-axial... somehow they don't seem as prominent here though - would be interesting to see a comparison in dimensions between the cases. Looking forward to seeing more about this model.

Looks like the bracelet is tapering. Any idea what the lug width is?
