My watch is Eurpean delivered and came as shown I'm the second owner of the watch . The box you show is indeed the box it usually came with this box was also used in the 80's though with Omega's Polaris titanium models . It could be the photo and the packaging it's in but is that a 2297.80 link? As a side note don't you just love these short reference number wich do not hear like a bank account when you read them out loud? The sun is starting to shine again I think I'll get my watch out these days.

I really like that dive flask box but there seem to be quitte rare as well the numbered version was special to the 150th Omega Seamaster Ti model. However an similar box was also delivered with a Seamaster 120 . I love this era of Seamasters as well I got a 2296.80 , 2231.80 , 2254.80 and a 2531.80 even though my first swiss watch was my 2531 wich I bought with the intention of an everyday wearer it was my 2254 wich I ended up wearing for 10 years straight. It's resting in my watchbox as I don't feel comfortable working with a watch on.

The 2297.80 titanium yellow gold seems to be much rarer as I think it was a lot less advertised than the 2296.80. The difference is quiet subtile I've even seen 2297.80 advertised on ebay as 2296.80 before.

It might be rarer but I prefer the tri-tone , it's especially a steal now that Omega has released another tri tone seamaster . I know the review a Bond's villain watch 😀
