All the BS aside I don't necessarily see an issue with the Disney connection.
From F1's point of view, it could be a great way of getting the "next generation" familiar with, and into racing.

I couldn't read the NYT article linked above to see any details of all of this though...

Horrible time for Oscar to suddenly go into a slump.

Time for Bearman to replace Lewis.
Oof... you're not wrong though...

Fernando would by my pick though, let him make peace with Maranello at the end

Has he lost form?........or are the pommy bastards at McLaren nobbling him to favor their countryman?

He lost form. Oscar fell apart last year at these same tracks.

I don't normally pass up the opportunity to blame the English, but it does seem like an Oscar problem for sure.

I'm no fan of Norris/McLaren, but if Oscar loses this championship, which is looking more likely than not at this point, it'll be on him. Neither McLaren driver has been super impressive this year, the car is doing the heavy lifting for this championship.

Awesome race at an awesome track.

Lando has one hand on the trophy.

I think Oscars 10 sec penalty was sort of BS. He had a good run and I can't imagine any driver in that situation backing out. He had no way of knowing Charles was on the outside and the lockup didn't help. And Kimi was just the middle of the sandwich. All things considered, I think that should have been deemed a racing incident. Whats the saying about not going for a gap that exists?
But he's definitely not doing himself any favors. Which is too bad because I was rooting for him.
Double Ferrari DNF...wow.
Not a Max fan per se, but he sure can make his way back up the the front. Impressive.
And Ollie B making the HAAS look almost competitive is pretty cool.

Ferrari is a mess, totally uncompetitive, making the same errors race after race, season after season. The Hamilton story has been a fiasco, a total waste of money. Old timers like Hamilton and Alonso need to go and make room for younger talent, at this point they aren't adding anything to F1.

Fernando is at least still solidly beating his teammate, even if his teammate is a potato. I genuinely still think he has most of his pace still, I'm keen to see what the Aston-Honda Newey-designed car can do in his hands.

This whole McLaren championship year has been one of the most bad PR victories I've seen in ages, so much drama and messiness

The team has been carrying on like politicians.........they shouldn't be surprised that they receive similar contempt
