I havent yet figured out what the disc under the 3 o'clock register does yet...it was one of the first things I noticed.

I assume it’s the remaining time on the regatta’s 15min countdown complication (in your picture the subdial hand reads 5mins into the countdown, so the disc is showing 10min remaining in the countdown).

Thanks for posting. That new 300 looks bloody massive in comparison to the trilogy.

gotta say, I like the black black too. Very nice. If I come into some spare moolah at some point, I may well get one.

When I first looked at the picture I thought, “oh that smaller one looks great” - then realized

In that shot the trilogy is sitting on the top of my hand (and not my wrist)...but yeah, it is a bit bigger...then the black black even bigger still...then the America’s cup even bigger yet...and even that worked on my wrist (not a small one).

The Seamaster is really growing on me, especially the blue dial. Until your drool-worthy pics of the gold/bronze edition. Wowza! 👍

the black will likely wear smaller anyway - that was my realisation with the Apollo 8.

in any case, the omega novelties knock most of the other brands into the weeds. They are really doing it right at the moment. Can’t wait to see some of these myself.

There is supposedly only a 2mm difference in diameter between the trilogy and the new 300
(39mm vs. 41 mm.) Measuring from the picture it appears there is a much greater difference than that. What was your impression? Is the new 300 huge?

Thanks for sharing 👍
I find it interesting that they didnt use the lollipop seconds hand on the bronzegold version of SM300. It surely is a stunner 😲 🥰

I had a chance to handle the new Speedmaster and must admit i find the new deeper black step dial so nice that i allmost wanted to pull the trigger 🙄 but then decided to keep it cool and think it over..

After seeing your wristshots, makes me wanna go find a trilogy seamaster 😗

Not at all.

Might be the bezel difference, but most likely its perspective difference : in the comparison shot, the SM300 is on my wrist, and the Trilogy is on the top of my hand (which is wider)...

Thanks for sharing the pics. Nice to see the AT with center seconds for the first time, although I agree the date window looks very conspicuous. Not quite sure about the Seamaster 300 either. Edited this post several times can’t put my finger on what seems off. Maybe the proportions of the lugs to the bracelet and diameter of the case. It’s nice overall, maybe just nit picking.

Very nice...that gold and green Tresor - wow! And all of them really...

One thing, you mentioned Canopus gold would be your pick, but the text looks like it's describing the Sedna gold...Not sure if it's formatting or you are thinking the Canopus is the red gold.

Either way, thanks for the pics.

What size is your wrist? I have a feeling that the new 300 would be too large for my wrist.

The new 300 wears very well. It is does not feel huge as the lugs curve down. It is great on smaller wrists as well as big ones. This model is going to please a lot of people once they handle it. I just hope that the Bronze Gold does not darken too much as it is stunning as-is. Only time will tell.

I am very much into the new Tresor Small Seconds - dark grey dial. I just can't judge, neither from OMEGA renders nor from your pictures, whether the dial is more black or dark grey...

For me with the new Seamaster 300 is the cutout numbers in yellow. I think it would have been better with printed white numbers on the dial like the previous generation.

Wow this OB had everything.

These were the watches presented internally (within Omega) for this years releases ...one of the perks of being in CH is that these watches make their rounds to all the main Boutiques (CH only AFAIK) every year after they have been announced. One has 3 days to view. Am happy to always be told and given the opportunity to have a look!

I am very much into the new Tresor Small Seconds - dark grey dial. I just can't judge, neither from OMEGA renders nor from your pictures, whether the dial is more black or dark grey...

i assume you mean this one :

The lighting is HORRIBLE : I found the black back SM300 way more legible in the bad lighting then most of these beautiful gems!. Funny that you mention it, as this watch also stood out to me...kind of in the same way as black black one did...i.e. it felt stealthy-monotone like, and is most likely the pick of the litter for me. That made me question the case material, and I was told it is steel. So, the dial is steel-grey as opposed to black.

What size is your wrist?

About 18 and a bit centimeters...

@PandaSPUR I lifted this shot from I believe the gentleman who had an appointment after me (his credits are in the picture)...
