New Ploprof 1200m Titanium: Plus question on the bracelet?

I JUST got this in a trade today for a bunch of stuff I passed on. First impressions: This thing IS as big as it looks. It looks HUGE. On the wrist? I barely feel it. I definitely have 'heavy' feeling watches, and this isn't it. This feels lighter than my 300m I was wearing all weekend somehow. The lug width is basically tiny, a guy with 1/2 my wrist could get away with this fit (~6-1/2).

That said, the bracelet is SLIGHTLY too loose. I wish I had like... 2 more adjustments. IS there any way to shorten the sharkmesh bracelet? I don't see anything resembling a pin/link in it, but was hoping there was something I was missing.

I just bought the 24mm Omega Shark mesh Bracelet for 1200m Ploprof but do not know how to remove the links to adjust it.

Thanks! And 'ooof'... thats quite a design. I might have to do that, but it would be a shame to :/ Maybe I'll just gain weight instead.

Congrats! I would try taping a piece of silicone under the clasp.

Congratulations on your trade, I love the PloProf. The steel version from 2009 has removable links in the mesh bracelet with pin and sleeve. The titanium has different lengths of strips. Some people have the combination of a medium on one side and a small on the other. Or two mediums. You probably get a good fit if you can find/order one of the two pieces of mesh in a shorter size. We talked about it on this forum in another thread.

Thanks! And that is good to know! I couldn't figure out which sizes I have, else I would order them. I didn't see anywhere that someone has listed the bracelet 'size' parts.

I might have to drive into my OB to ask them if I can't figure it out otherwise :/

Looks like the bracelet strands (the two sections on each side of the clasp) come in 3 lengths...

Standard length - 130TIZ002935

Long - 130TIZ003042

Short - 130TIZ003041

Unfortunately, no lengths are given for any of the strands or for the complete bracelets.

My OB says there is nothing in their system about that, and the number (934 vs 935) makes me wonder if I have an older model here? Presumably standard length due to being within 1 number of the standard length?

Same information comes up for that specific serial, so the numbers I gave you above still apply. Keep in mind the codes they print on bracelets these days are not like in the past - they are nearly useless for trying to look up parts.

Thank you so much! And that is really unfortunate! It would be super neat to be able to know what I have before spending a big chunk of change on them!

But I am about 95% sure now thanks to your help! Thank you again!

As an update: My OB was able to order a set of 2 'small' shards (he said he had no idea they were called that, so couldn't find them!) for a touch under $1k. So I'll mess with some combo of those to get this to fit just right 😁

Its a little annoying since it is JUST too large. 2 more clicks in the clasp and it would be perfect! Oh well, its only money, right?

I hope you can get a good fit with the two small shards. If installing 2x small gives you a good fit but with the clasp significantly extended (with the push slider) it might be best with 1 small at the 6 o’clock side and 1 medium at the 12. The clasp is big enough it looks and wears better without making the clasp bigger. I was under the assumption that a few sizes came in the box as a full set.
