Got this quartz in the mail today. $57 shipped U.S. of the OFFER-UP app It needs a battery and two of the lugs are slightly bent outward on one side, but a very cheap way for me to maintain my watch addiction 😀
Ref 196.0119
Cal. 1370
First pic is from seller and was the only pic provided.. used some fine sandpaper and poly-watch on the crystal and added a black leather strap to clean her up.

$300 for this freshly serviced Cosmic 2000 from the OF private sales forum. The spiderweb dial has character and at 38mm diameter it’s one of my bigger vintage watches. Very presentable casual watch!

Awesome Watch There!!!

Picked this one up a few weeks ago. Dates back to the mid-30s. A bit small at 31mm but still a cool watch.
Looks similar to the Filenios

I bought this early Speedmaster Reduced 175.0032 for 12€ at a German fleamarket portal. Well, in the end we agreed to 250€, cause the wife of the seller started googling after the sale 😁

I was a bit afraid it could be a fake or something, but it turned out to be a genuine and pretty nice one from 1989.

What a steal

Got this beauty for under $500, 18K french rose gold, not a household name but same car maker as the french 30T2RG, good solid manual wind movement and gorgeous case and dial, all told a bloody bargain and a very pretty watch

This DON arrived at 490 Euros , call it „a touch of speedy“.
Some work to do ... movement works fine, but still in need of replacing crystal and a pusher cap and a proper cleaning.

Tissot Seastar 40508, lemania1277-based tissot 872 manual movement, birth date ca 1969

I have 11 Omegas, and two Louis Brandt (Omega, Brandt model CCR) pocket watches. I paid more than $500 for both my Speedmaster (345.0808), and my Speedmaster reduced (175.0033). But I don’t have $500 invested in the rest of them. Totally. I have generous friends!

I posted these pictures before but not on this thread. I wanted to though, as I gotta say, I am proud not only of the watches but of the fact that the hard and long search paid off.

The Rosegold costed amazing 300€. The SS around 460€.

Both of the watches are beautiful but after a month or so of ownership, I gotta say I still don't connect with the SS one and will probably try and trade it...

Is it a 2374?

Yeah, it is a 2374-1. What I find really cool is the fact that the steel case was never polished, and the patina on the dial is looking great. Even the crown is original and I believe this Art Deco numerals are not easy to find in good condition.

I find them cool but still didn't connect.

This Seamaster Cosmic (166.026) arrived today together with a 1037 (N° 29) bracelet.

More than happy with the gold-colored dial.

Only the crown needs to be replaced and the crystal will be polished tomorrow.

Paid 250€ (~295$)

I bought this 1963 Seamaster with 610 movement. It came with a 1960's Omega tang buckle on the strap that was on it. I paid $500 Cdn which equates to $375 USD. Here it is on a Veblenist nato.

Found this Constellation within the mentioned price range and haven’t regretted it since. It’s the unishell case, 168.0015 I think with a cal. 564 automatic. I assume it’s the least liked case among similar looking Connis since the movement isn’t that easily accessible but for the money I’m ok with that. Dial is in superb condition, everything works as it should and it loses 5s/day. Not too bad for a 54 year old lady. 😀

A little late to this party...but dibs!🥰

Picked up this serviced (stated) 165.008 in SS with cal 711 (Omega's thinnest automatic, Adj. to 2 pos.) for $300 on the Bay. Seller had put up horrid pics of the watch face, but the watch head turned out pristine except for crystal scratches. It was running when I unboxed it! Fair price, eh? Undervalued gem of a dress watch IMHO.
