$499.99 ok really an even $500 but who's counting? Out for service then off for a case refinishing. A damn shame someone would treat the case like this.
You sure the case needs to be refinished?

Yes it definitely does. The edges are rounded over, lapping/sunburst is gone as is the polished area.

The case should look like this.

Just purchased this one for 475. Nott sure the ref. Number, since it a 1 piece case. Interesting bullseye dial.

A 168-005 Constellation found in the bottom of a candy tin bought at an antique radio swap meet for $15. Plus a few other running watches to boot. 😉

I have found this one last week for 250€ shipped.

I think it's a CK 2099 from the early 40's as shown on the following picture. To my knowledge, the "Fab. Suisse" writing means the watch was produced for the French market. I just love the bluish/purple hands 🥰.

Cheers.

That’s amazing! What kind of secret phrasing do you use on your searches?

Needs some TLC but another OM to the collection. Late 50’s mech wind. Love the even Arabic numerals, face and hands. It will keep me busy over the weekend.
