First the Ebel chronograph for less than $50, now this?

I have to learn your secrets!

No secrets, I just spend too many hours on ebay. 😁

I have found this one last week for 250€ shipped.

I think it's a CK 2099 from the early 40's as shown on the following picture. To my knowledge, the "Fab. Suisse" writing means the watch was produced for the French market. I just love the bluish/purple hands 🥰.

Cheers.

Wow, i really like this one. Im a sucker for white dials with blued hands🥰

Woop! Woop!

I just nabbed this on EBay. And as you'll probably ask, £397 + £13 = £410. Even better news is that because it's coming from within Europe, I shan't get the 20% Duty on value of goods and shipping when it lands in Britain.

"Omega dynamic men's watch, monobloc steel case, size mm. 41 excluding crown X mm. 37; hand-wound movement caliber 601 (not presented because the watch is absolutely new and never been opened) is working and precise; blue and silver two-tone sun dial with white graphics; buckle, strap and glass branded omega. The clock is original and coeval in all its parts, still with the labels of the manufacturer, it is an unsold inventory of official store omega, new, never worn, stored for over 40 years.
Unrepeatable opportunity !!!"

While the movement is in good condition, that dial has unfortunately been redone. Depending on what you paid for it, it's either worth the parts or overpriced.

Wanted to write the same but thought I was in the < USD 50 thread - which would have been a bargain anyway

If you look at the Omega font, it's not quite straight and evenly spaced between the letters. Some of the minute markers are longer/shorter than others.

A similar cased model looks more like this (courtesy of @François Pépin )

Thanks I see what you mean . Certainly the 3 o’clock marker is swue, which I’m sure is an age thing. The second markers is probably the angle of photo as I know the provenance of the watch . I will find out more when I strip it down this weekend. Cheers

240$ 😀

Omega Seamaster ref. 14759 1 SC cal. 600 from 1960

I have put the strap on, cleaned it up, needs a new crystal, better matching Omega crown and looks like it could need a service (runs though) 😀

Great find! I might have to cave in and start browsing gold capped models..

Have just picked this one up today from an auction house. It was an impulse buy with under 1 minut to decide to buy 😀

260$

Seems to be in nice condition, runs great 270-280 dg. - 3 sek. flat, original crystal and crown 😀 and ca. 35,5 mm. I have put the Omega strap on.

Ref. 136.0099, cal. 1030 from 1972/73
