A Omega Seamaster ref. 2648-10 SC, caliber 501 from 1958 (I have put on the Omega strap and buckle on after the purchase )

 

Is that dial original/unretouched? Noob question for educational purposes.....

I've just been ploughing through the 2017 thread of the same, I am flaberghasted what is out there folks are finding, i need to find some thrift stores. That Seamaster is exaclty what i've been looking for too, stunning!

 

Picked this up from a fellow watch collector. A group of us meet on Sunday mornings to talk watches and just generally BS.

A little small for my taste, but I'm a sucker for old Seamasters.

I have been trying to score a decent condition stainless steel Omega deville, Genève, Seamaster, or any nice looking non quartz for under 200$ I have come close but never something just right

Only gotten a single one for under 100$ working and it is 14k gold and working, but is a 1980s quartz with the worst crown ever made the 1351 push button. I have the change the time with a toothpick and I am searching for a replacement for under 200$(not including service). I have also have decided I am not a fan of wearing gold

 

Ebay BIN for £300, came with the BOR bracelet, but I think Im going to sell it to recoup some of the cost, not quite a free watch head. Ref 14761-1.

Just received this today, £80. 9crt art deco ladies watch, I just loved the dial. Its a shame it isn't bigger or I would be wearing it!

Sounds like a good deal. Like the black bezel with the contrasting indices and hands.

 

I stumbled over this and had to buy it cuz of the bracelet it came with but it turned out the watch was also an absolute beauty
