Yet again crashstappen strikes again... no Max you did not give him room. Did you see what he did after the race?

Sorry Seb... that was on you.

Great race Kimi, great race... bad luck.

Want Spoilers?

Seb defended to hard and took himself out to 18th on turn 3 lap 1.

Verstappen pulled a bone headed move on Bottas and got a 5 second penalty that was deserved then acted like a petulant child and cost him self an extra position. Then post race he tried to run into the winners circle even though he was 5th.

Ha, didn't see the running in bit. That's quite amusing.

Yeah you can see him in the background he didn’t pull into pit row like everyone else and parked about 20m behind the winners circle. Looks like a RB employee stopped him from approaching Bottas.

F1 is a harsh mistress.
VAN is gone from McLaren at the end of the season, that's really some rough luck given the season he's had, and the speed he promised, the paddock thought he had done enough to stay on, am guessing McLaren didn't after Italy.

Who's in that seat now? OCN? Their GP2 chap Norris?
[Edit - scrap OCN, he's a Merc academy chap isn't he? FI are being lined up to be a Merc junior team?]

The way McLaren has fallen, it might be the best thing for him.

McLaren is a dumpster fire right now. Look at the other young drivers that were pushed out, Perez and K. Mag. They're doing alright now with teams that don't have an overinflated view of themselves.

Good luck Lando. At least you have one of the coolest names around in F1.

I believe McLaren has become a marketing company, not a racing company. I mean wtf does this have to do with anything?

Yeah Toyota only puts the winners of it contest into GT2 cars to race a season...

Esports is the wild west right now everyone is trying to stake a claim. Pro sports teams like nfl/nba are getting in.

As for McLaren... the issue is in the aero... they need a better aero team. They simply have to much drag on the car. Suspension and balance look OK.

I like how either Zak or Eric said at the beginning of the season (don't remember who) that they were too slow on the straights and corners. Other than that the car is fine.

Soooooo the swap has happened, RAI to Sauber, LEC to Fezza, quite interesting Ferrari went this early with LEC, although could be seen as a response to VES being aggressively promoted very young to RBR and all the fun he's created.
Wonder if BOT is in trouble in a couple of years as Merc must surely be looking around for their next young upstart...?

It would have been nice if Ferrari gave me a heads up to hold off posting the chart for 24 hours. JERKS!

I had this thought as well even though he does have some history with the team already...
Also read somewhere that he is the youngest driver at Ferrari since sometime in the 60's.
He seems like an all around good dude at the moment.
I am looking forward to seeing him in a competitive car.

I wonder if he’s going to take being the #2 to Vettel or really challenge him.

That's the million dollar question lol.
I could see him potentially laying a bit low his first season while he gets used to things.
But who knows...
