Pleased to have had the chance to pick up this 6139-6012 "WATER70mRESIST" variant dating back to March 1972

First purchase of the year.
£280. Original bracelet was included but I don't like it. I have a few new leather straps on their way.

Cheating a little as this was a 2016 purchase, but one of its unusual (welded) lugs fell off the second time I wore it and I just got it back from repair. Total cost for now: 36 euros purchase, 40 euros repair (welding + labor), 10 euros strap and buckle. The fabulous Ebay seller volunteered to contribute £10 towards the repair costs even though I had already given positive feedback and the transaction was closed.

Wayyyy too many to list, but I'll start with this one. And as a related aside, while I bought it years ago, the brand still represents excellent value in the vintage market.

2017 is 16 days old and listing your purchases would already be a momentous task? 😲

I've bought three and still think I might be overdoing it...

Going to be a cracker watch season this year with so many jumping in on the Speedy Tuesday that didn't expect it. ( and may need to move a few pieces )

Just bought this Illinois New Yorker for a little shy of 500. Very crisp example.

Time for a bump for this thread 😀

I have always been curious about the Bell-Matics from Seiko and this combined the virtues of being cheap and, apparently, in very good shape. Seems to still have the original brushing! Not bad looking for a 47 year old watch...
