So Gentlemen, any Information is appreciated. I really like my Seamaster and all… always liked the Speedy

came across a pre moon that’s in good condition and recently serviced by reputable shop. Supposedly it’s in all original condition, including the Hesalite that has some small scratches. Dial looks great as the pushers do also. Shows age… in the close ups. No box, just watch and recent purchase receipt with service recipt.

Here are some photos

Looks legit to me as far as I can tell. Service crown, but that's not a big deal. What did you want to know?

Was wanting to know a value… yet it sold, fast!

I'm still not sure of the context, but in general, if someone wants to know if they should buy something, it's preferable to indicate the asking price in the OP, that will almost always get a response. Members love to help enthusiasts buy watches

However, if someone just throws up some photos and ask what a watch is worth, it seems like they're just asking us to help them make money, and that really doesn't motivate most of the members here.

Oh ok

No intentions like that. I’ll note next time.

I should have moved on that one from what I’m reading… manual movement… 321 I think

That watch does not have an applied logo, so definitely a cal 861. Based on the DON bezel, presumably a relatively early 145.022-69.

Generally in order to get a good deal on a sought after watch you need to know your onions. Otherwise by the time you’ve asked for assistance or validation, someone else will have pounced on it if it’s a good price.
Best to proactive familiarise yourself with the nuances of the models you’re looking at so you’re ready to move quickly.
