They simply can’t be dancing at every party. In parallel. But if one wants to spend some time with them to share / cross-check own findings, they take the time - you know it ;)

I know it's 1872 and not a 1873, I've not got one either as the cheeky @Northernman bought it. As I too NEED this one.

BTW @kov thanks for your stunning work and to all others who have contributed thank you too. I am tempted to drift again but will stay on target.
Sadly until I get a 9655 I'll fear I can only add questions and will hold of further drift until I can provide physical examples.

So I managed to source a 145.006-66 with what I called a Silver radial dial with thin indexes :

    BB935D4C-374D-4DF5-A138-88704A01AB92.jpeg

    - Soleil Silver dial
    - Applied logo
    - Radial sub counters
    - Long thin applied indexes with tritium dots at outside edges
    - Integrated tachymètre scale
    - Chrome hour and minute hands with a tritium track and a black track
    - Orange chrono hand (18.20mm)
    - Chrome sub counter hands

That case was polished but the rest is good, especially the cal 321 is in a perfect shape. I will make better photographs of this wonderful soleil dial asap.

Can anyone explain to me how this reference obtain the "Jedi" moniker?

The name came from the late great Omega documenter Chuck Maddox, who was apparently a Star Wars fan as well. He also generated the nicknames “Anakin” and “Darth Vader” for other Omega models.

You can read a compendium of this writings on chronomaddox.com

Thanks! I heard about about this Chuck Maddox guy here and there, but do not know him in detail. I will check out your link. Thanks!

It's actually not uncommonly seen for an Omega dial to say T but has no lume on it. Majority of them are in pristine condition like this one.

But the lumed hands? Any photos of these?

The lume hands are to match with the T. There sure are photos of quite a few examples around, even here on OF, I'll look them up.

Another interesting variation of the very early 321 reverse panda radial dial observed.

    For future reference.

Here is my black panda 145.016 on the left. It has a circular case finish. On the right a 145.029 blue panda.

I must say it's my preferred dial from the regular ones, too. Would love to find it with a 321 inside though :)

Looks pretty good overall - dial looks nice, movement looks clean. I tend to be skeptical of the 20 micron plating, but no obvious cracks or worn areas. What’s the size of the case?

The case is 34mm. I thought the crown is supposed to be the same colour as the case?
