Your thoughts on Speedmaster The legend Schumacher Edition

A 15 year old Broad Arrow Speedmaster is not a Master Chronometer spec watch, that is a more recent thing so the lookup facilities for those aren't applicable. It will have a COSC chronometer certification, not that it really matters. Unless it wasn't in fact sold as a new watch, it must have a 5 year warranty. If it is less then it wasn't sold as a new watch. Either way, if it has sat in a dealer's safe for 15 years it is probably overdue a service, luckily the warranty will cover if it isn't running right. FWIW I have a Speedy with a later version of this movement and I love it.

It certainly was good info. the watch came with a two year international Omega warranty so if anything does go wrong I can always send to Omega to have it repaired.

Congrats! I think that looks great. See window may be an abomination to some, but I’d find it useful. I often glance at my wrist to check the date and am disappointed when I see I have one of my manual wind Speedies sans date.

Thanks for posting, it was indeed sold as new and a 5 year warranty would be fantastic, but I'm sure that even if the warranty is 2 years any mechanical or time keeping issues will surface sooner or later and should be covered by Omega.
