Your Opinions Please - 1968 Speedmaster 145.012

I am not an expert.
1968 is a rarer year for this reference?
All looks ok with the original bezel, hands, pushers etc
With the box and papers leather strap not bracelet. It seems a lot of money but is the last actual moon reference.
Any opinions please!

Yes, the vast majority were ref 145.012-67 according to Moonwatch Only, but the production years were from 1967 to 1969. The bezel insert is very sharp, clean and correct, but the more I look at it, I'd like another opinion... thinking it's too clean and the font looks a little heavy... replica? Help guys. Dial appears to have the spaced T... hard to tell from photo, but looks correct. Still concerned about hour markers as they appear white compared to M and H hands... not sure if re-lumed, and would need a better and closer image. The hands look correct, except the chronograph hand may be a later replacement... still correct, ... I see darker patina on the minute and hour hands but not on the chronograph hand... may be the image or the chronograph hand was replaced. This reference used both the tear drop and flat chronograph hand and the later in production more likely had the flat bottom. Pushers should be wide and tall, and appear so. Case still has sharp lines... I can't tell if polished or not.

All and all, considering your images, with box and papers a nice looking watch. Bracelet most likely would be a 1039/516, but considering I can't read the extract date it could also be a 1116/575

I think, lume from the indexes is missing completely as far as I can see. Have a look to the linked auction to see more and larger fotos. Bracelet is not named in the certificate.

Thanks , I didn't notice the link to auction. I can't tell about lume, except it doesn't look right compared to hour and minute hands. Is bezel correct... it looks too perfect? September 3, 1968... could have had a tear drop chronograph second hand.
Personally, I feel price is high considering no bracelet, bezel?, and lume.
I'm waiting for others.

The bezel is clearly a reproduction. Lume is completely washed off. At 11GBP..well
Look at the font, the position of the dots over e.g. 110, 140, 130, 100,just to give a few reference points.
