As a small wristed dude, I’ve always liked the 42mm first gen PO best. Here’s my 2500D on a WatchGecko shark mesh. Someday I’ll track down a genuine Omega version.
I’ve tried on the current gen 39.5mm, and think I’ll own one of those someday too.
I tried on a 43.5 at the GTG this weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. The 43.5 hid the height really well and didn’t feel huge. Now I understand why they made it.
I agree, at least for the summer time... I recently changed out the steel strap and got a cheap rubber strap to see how it looks before I spend the money on a real Omega rubber strap....but I think we have a winner.
I like the 1st gen PO. That’s my go to summer watch when I put it on a rubber strap. Later models do have better movement and all but a little too chunky for my taste.
Hey, first post here. While I don’t usually look at Omega watches, however I do know the history concerning the brand and appreciate it. This one came up for sale from a company I’ve done lots of business with over the years and I couldn’t resist. Seamaster 43.5 PO 600m. It is pre-owned but still very new in condition. Box and cards coming as well. Plus a 15 month warranty from the company I’m buying from. I have tried Rolex subs, plus many others and decided this is the most bang for the buck. The other added features include the 8900 movement, the white gold hands, numbers, indices and branding on the dial. These are company provided pics, the watch will be delivered tomorrow. I stole it for $3,750!
It arrived!!
Pics say it all but I will say that it’s like this 43.5 case size was made just for me! Plus they sent me this red Omega cap that I will wear.
I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Course I’m in somewhat of a honeymoon stage at the moment.
Hi guys, anybody selling the OEM rubber strap fitting the 42mm PO 8500? Black stitches on black rubber... Looking for one but it gets hard to find one! THx a lot.
