I'm in the "pass" camp. Too many potential issues. Rust and evidence of water damage is never a good thing. Combine that with the difficulty in sourcing 321 parts -- a situation that's likely to get worse and not better -- and I think that you have an unacceptable level of risk.

Why so much?
lots of hours i guess

2k what?

That would be in Euro

That's a lot of mildew and mold. There's no fixing that:

Thanks for high ligthing that ! and your insights as that is what i am looking for from the experienced members here//

Unless you are not buying to sell,
Unless the price is a steal,
Let it go.

Fair points, thnx !

Appealing aesthetics, but the rust would make me pass.

A sight-unseen estimate of 2K Euro for a service suggests to me that your watchmaker is trying to send you a message.

There is also an engraving on the back side of the lug.
Probably first sold in Sweden. Many Swedish speedies of this time have these lug engravings. Can of course be a service mark as well.

Good spot !
Is it pitting or is that a crack ? Looks similair to the chrome coming of a car bumper.

They must not read the Omega Forums pages! I suppose that's on the low side for a 105.012?

Well, 7500 + 2K service and parts still gives you a great watch if you dont mind the costs and the long wait. Or cheap if you are a watchmaker and can do the work yourself. But there could be nasty surprises under the hood so to speak, so not for the faint of heart.

From that photo, the bezel looks cracked, which should not affect the integrity of the case. The bezel could fall apart, of course.

I bought it. I think it has a lot of potential.
I followed the auction, and you had a hard time winning the watch - but congrats!

Please share more pictures during your journey with the watch?

To me it looks to be below the bezel - maybe Pianist will let us know... 😀

It’s a hard pass from me. Seems very risky and there are much better options available if you look around.

I would have been in the "pass camp" because of the rusty conditions of the movement and the oxidation of the case.
Probably a needed restoration will be quite expensive...
With what band and end-links does the watch come?

Cheers
